iPhone_7 10/08/18 9:47:11 PM #1:	Its such a spiral into madness & if you keep in mind the clues throughout the film you cant quite put it together until the end. Even in a scene when a crazy event happened it had me second guessing if it actually happened that way or if that was just how a crazy person saw it - or if it even happened at all. I looked it up and saw it was made by A24, the same film company behind The VVitch. I thought oh, this explains why I was left feeling uncomfortable by the end. Thought the end was dumb tho, but I just in general don't really like that kind of ending. I loved Hereditary, I thought it was a fantastic movie, but A Quiet Place is still my best of the year. I do agree though that it's tough to call Hereditary "horror" it's more like a psychological slow burn thriller. I liked the ending with ~~the sci-fi action, the lady destroying an alien ship with a Molotov, & somewhat happy ending.~~ But I know it would have gotten bad user reviews if it ended ~~the moment she got outside, saw the alien ship and said come on. WafflehouseJK 10/09/18 1:08:15 AM #42:	The Witch is way better IMO. Hereditary's convoluted nature kinda worked against it's slow-burn take on horror IMO. Still good though. Green Room is also great.
