Well the thing is, youtube is being stupid for a while now. If you don't have notifications turned on, even if you are subbed, you might never see a new video from that channel. Even then sometimes you can't, and probably need an outside site to get you notified of new videos.

Nah man there is definitely a good and bad way of doing this. Plenty of YouTubers are able to get this message out with being so dramatic about it. And I get why the ones who do that are like that but its still fun to make fun of them. Its nothing serious.

It's mostly subscriptions are broken on YouTube, and YouTube refuses to admit there's a problem.

I have notifications on for one of my favorite channels and I still don't get any kind of notification that they've uploaded a video sometimes.
