I mean, if we develop the tech to be able to withstand the pressures of the ocean that will greatly aid us in planet expiration. Plus, what about all the undiscovered life in the ocean? You might be able to develop cures for diseases based on that. We can also learn much more about the history of the Earth. You think Dinosaurs hold a lot of our history? There might be creatures in the deep that are centuries older than the earliest Dinosaur on record.

There is so much we don't know. How deep have we discovered in the ocean? 2 miles? Isn't like 500 miles deep? I can confirm these on google but it's more fun trying to remember.

Its harder to make a vehicle that can withstand MANY atmospheres of pressure vs vehicles that need to withstand no atmosphere
