Yikes, talk about a model anime. Hell, fiction in general.
Ive never seen a show where: Characters who are introduced as cool, legit run away from a fight if theyre outclassed. Characters yell for backup immediately when forced to fight an opponent that may be stronger than them. Characters who immediately give up info/surrender when pressured by an enemy obviously stronger than them. Good guys just as vulnerable to death as bad guys if they gun for above their weight class. A protagonist who DOESNT mind torturing or killing enemies who earn it. Actually funny humor from the female fan service character. Like whoa. Please tell me this show is popular. It deserves. Just started season 2. Past the lizardmen. Best guardian just got snitched on though. --- A show of kindness may not do much help, but a show of cruelty may do much harm. ... Copied to Clipboard!

That good huh? Is it good from first episode on? I remember hating episode 1 and almost dropped it because it decides to throw anime weeb shit at you first for some reason. The concept was interesting enough to make me give it another chance. The op main character style really works in this show, and it really took off for me a few episodes in once you reach the Adventurers Guild. --- A show of kindness may not do much help, but a show of cruelty may do much harm. ... I saw the first few episodes of season 1 and stopped watching it. Didn't get the point of it, personally.

Great show, although so far, the first season is the best. All are still watchable, though. I highly recommend reading the LNs if you're that interested -- some kickass stuff happens.
