The couple of starts he had against the Cardinals this year he looked like he (MVP Baseball voice) is going to win a cabinet full of Cy Youngs before it's all said and done. Adam Wainwright tweeted last night Buehler had hands down the best stuff of any pitcher he saw this year also.

Big early-season matchup between the Aves and the Wilds tonight

Always a fun/nasty matchup. For how new of a team the Wilds are, these two teams and fanbases really kinda hate each other haha, despite the rivalry not making much sense geographically. Probably because of the playoff history I guess (The Aves obviously have the better playoff track record overall).

It was so much fun seeing them play in the Can a couple years ago. All the Colorado fans were cool, just some friendly trash talk. We sat next to these two guys who were from MN but now live in Denver. The Nugz and Wolves were playing the next night and they said they go to the game every time a MN team is in CO

I didn't watch the crazy game last night but am watching the one tonight, so I'm sure the Sox will win

Rich Hill has pretty good stats but whenever I see him pitch he seems to have zero command.

Don't know what happened but I feel like running the bases can't be that hard. I could probably do an okay job at it other than sliding. Of course it's probably way harder than it looks when you have to judge things from the middle of the action instead of a wide TV angle

Slow ground ball to third. He was thrown out at second but he was putting on the brakes before he got there and wasn't running hard at all. The hitter made it to first easily, there wouldn't have been a play at first.

Also they're making a Mary Poppins sequel. Just saw an ad for it. How bizarre.

There would have been a play at first if Rodriguez hadn't made the force at second possibke. It was a heads up play to notice that E-Rod didn't know what he was doing on a routine grounder. He probably didn't see it off the bat and wasn't sure what to do for a minute and his brain exploded.

Why did I take a morning shift? I am a dumb. There nothing more depressing than having to wake up when the sun isn't even out. Or I guess more specifically, having an alarm greet you to a pitch black room

Next Saturday I have to take a test for a prospective job and it's early enough and far away enough that I'll have to get up around 5 AM or maybe earlier. I'm considering pulling an all-nighter because I am not a morning person.

I understand where you're coming from with the morning shift, but look on the bright side - you'll be done earlier and you'll have time to do anything or nothing for the rest of the day.

Well so far when I get off I pretty much am too tired to do anything except like play video games, but I need to keep up with the applying to jobs and such. That's what happened when I came home from my old job too, except I felt less pressure to find another job. Now I think I also want to do one of those coding bootcamps or something but I'm skeptical about them

Had taco bell brekky this morning. God is good. Their dollar menu for breakfast is surprisingly excellent. Also ran into an acquaintance in the parking lot. If you haven't done small talk in the taco bell parking lot, highlight recommended

What are your opinions on Mega Man X? I think I like that series more than original Mega Man. (Although I am basing that on Mega Man X1 vs Mega Man 1-3 and 11. Maybe the rest of the X series sucks.)

I played more of the X games than the original ones growing up so that's points for them. I think overall I might prefer the NES games, just because I think the art style in X games is maybe a little overwrought vs the classic (and, of course, necessary) minimalism of the NES games. The storytelling in the X games is obviously more ambitious, and I give it points for that, but a lot of that hasn't aged well either. Anyway both series are good.

I don't like all the changes to the catch rule. The three steps makes it a catch without a football move is good, but the ball hitting the ground and moving and sometimes still being a catch is weird and I don't like it.

The Ravens are garbage.

Once again, it must be said that my Chiefs have the ultimate QB.

The Rams/Packers game is a low scoring defensive struggle, like we all predicted

I've only played X1 and it's good but I think I prefer the OG series more. Also, maybe the later X games have more ambitious additions, but at least with the first one I feel like it gets way too much credit for being a "unique" series. I was a little let down playing it because it was hyped up on these big innovations but it's basically what I might've expected MM7 to be if I had played these games back in the day

The good thing about this game is that it shows all the Packers have to do to become one of the top teams in the NFC is fire McCarthy. The talent is there. It's just his stupidity holding us back.
