In all honesty I do remember the neighbor kids coming over... The two brothers that came from one family had really strict parents who would come up to the house after like 20 minutes and make them go home, because they didn't want them to get addicted to games. But they both turned out to have rather different lives than their parents expected so joke's on them >_>. My friend that I did hang out with most of my childhood (up until high school for some reason, I really don't know why we stopped talking) would always complain that the controller he was playing with was broken so I'd always switch controllers with him but then he'd start coming up with other excuses >_>. I would run into the computer players and nudge them into obstacles so they'd lose their load while she got all the best prizes and got a super high score. Then we'd keep track of how high we could get it on a little slip of paper. It was all about the RNG back then, even if we didn't know it.
