Hey gang, going to be commuting soon but I think the thing to keep in mind here is red actually read the flavor, so hell has frozen over. On the other hand I don't know what FD gains from claiming his real flavor as scum here. That's just really stupid and one of my least favorite things in the world is to assume scum is just stupid for no reason. Like... I love it from red that he is like "oh burn the witch" so thats town + but why does FD as scum ignore his safe list? Makes me uneasy about an FD lynch despite everything else just being bad from him for days. What is the scum angle of 'I know, I'll claim witches this makes sense."

Maybe makes pirate claiming dean make a bit more sense since they had supernatural scum so maybe they didn't think there would be supernatural town? Meh, he's done a lot of bad but people claiming their real flavor is just strange and play I would expect below scum FD.

Why do that? There's always an answer to this, especially from a thoughtful scum player like FD. He's not dumb. Safelists exist for a reason. He claimed unforced. He wasn't panicked or cornered and he did it naturally. Why would he claim his real role? What on earth does he gain from this? It's senseless. Town lost last game because it decided that scum must be completely terrible and didn't ask themselves the right questions.

What universe are we in that a scum FD unforced does not use his safelist.

It's a breaking point, isn't it? Okay so he has looked awful, for sure. But... why does he do the above? It's pointless. It doesn't help him. FD's skill cap is far below getting to the level of wifom I am at in this moment, so it wasn't to bait me into saving him.

FD's probably town then, despite everything.

Like, serious question. Of all the people to ask to stop thinking, am I really the person you want to tell that to? My thinking is usually pretty great, especially when I know the measure of the man like I do FD. He's been scummy sure but our host was super scummy last game too. Hey Mzero remember that time last game where you got lynched? Could have used some over thinkers on your side then, I think.

FUN FACTS:

If the team is Sbell/Sheep, Sheep was on me to end day 1 and Sbell has been flailing at me every day. Which means scum has literally been on my ass for years. Also hi Sheep I see that vote.

So saving me day 1 when I claimed power is the opposite of what red did last game as scum, so that's a + but not entirely determining because I don't know the circumstances of the potential scum team. What makes me feel a lot better is that if I am right about FD then Red is town because scum red totally burns scum fd at the stake to look better (and thus a level of wifom that I introduce here fd could have claimed witches to make red eventually look better, but I dismiss it because it makes red look worse and he unlike fd is capable of going this far down the wifom tree) , but scum red has obscenely little motive to bury a town fd and stick his neck out like that.

So dare I say I think those two are very likely to be the same alignment, and if you think I am wildly off base on FD with my logic it makes red a probable scum partner, and this makes me REALLY think it is 4 because yeah jesus Sbell is scum.

I'm the Leader of the brotherhood of course (bit of a mouthful, I know), and my role is called cult leader as I said earlier. No night actions, so basically Vanilla. Nowhere in my PM does it mention the words "vanilla". Was hoping I could get away with not claiming properly since I softed power a few times and since I was probably the cop scan and my flavour was literally confirmed by Neab (in case anyone was actually considering trying to lynch me, I'd like to remind y'all of that. I'm basically confirmed Town twice over), I might've been a good kill if they didn't want to confirm masons, although I've had an absolutely awful game so far.

I flip between thinking Chris is scum and Chris is town every time I come in here. I like the pressure on SBell. I'm really not sure FD is scum, and SBell's flown far under the radar for me so far which is really unusual from what I know of him. He did a little D1 last game too, but now there's less people here I really don't expect him to be shrinking into the background. Problem for me is I am yet to see him as scum in a game so I can't really judge off past behaviour. That's kinda the same problem I'm having with Chris, I barely remember his scum game and even when I have seen it there was hardly any difference to his town game.

I know Chris, you are brilliant and stuff. But sometimes the simple answer is correct. FD claimed witches which are technically humans or at least humanoid. So it makes sense that he would claim that whether it's his real flavor or not

I just don't feel comfortable overlooking 2 days of scumminess because his claim has a microscopic wrinkle

And I was lynched last game because of overthinking. What I did made 0 sense from a scum perspective and no one wanted to accept the simple truth that I was town scanner who goofed the reveal and dowolf was obviously scum. Well maybe not overthinking but not looking at the most obvious answer

As for FD, there's the possibility all this Witch crap is throwing us off entirely from viewing the situation right. "Group of Witches" could just be on the safe list and considered a safe enough role in this game to claim. When was it ever confirmed that FD claimed his real flavor? I think that was just an aside from Red. Are you confident enough to run with that, Chris?

I'm also not entirely feeling FD though. He's kind of given up, and he's blaming all the claims day 1 as his reason for being annoyed at the game and giving up....which is dumb but, who says something like that as scum? And now I see Sbell is saying similar things.

After last game where I got a power role for the first time in forever a power role with a lot of responsibility... Yeah going back to vanilla is crappy when you come into a game and have all these outlandish claims staring you in the face.
