You had to pay a lot of money to collect the video tapes of a series back in the day, and even if you wanted to watch a movie like Akira, Ninja Scrolls, or Ghost in the Shell it got kind of tricky before streaming services, and even DVD distribution to an extent. --- When your reputation is ruined you can live quite freely. Then a friend lent me Trigun and a really enjoyed that show so I ended up watching DBZ more.
