With less than a week away before midterms as Democrats are positioned to re-take the House in hotly contested seats, African Americans in the Deep Red South are mobilizing to FLIP SEATS in long term red districts!!

Most of the races, where thousands of activists are working day and night to get the vote out are creating a "black voting wave" after having "black joy" brunches to national text messages programs, various PACs are hoping to encourage voters to register for an election they've sat out on because of the district's never ending change in politics

It could sway tight races, even in governor elections where it's surprisingly tight in Georgia with Democrat Stacey Abrams who could be the first African American Female Govenor of a state.

The group was able to reach out to 65,000 infrequent African American voters in a span ouf 2 hours as they encouraged them to get out and vote.

BlackPAC is spending 8 million to help increase Democratic turnout, flooding Georgia and 9 other states with radio ads and mailers.

PowerPac Georgia is spending another 5 million to help raise turn out among 100,000 infrequent African American voters, while Black Women's Roundtable is hoping to inspire 150,000 black women to vote in the state

They have launched a national text messaging program to reach 2 million black voters in 5 states, including Florida and Mississippi

Adrianna Shropshire says "Black Voters are seeing this as a transformative moment for our country. They are using their votes as their resistance"

Afrian American turn out has helped swing 2 tight races lat year including a senate seat in Alabama and governship in Virginia.

The race everyone will be watching is between Stacey Abrams and Brian Kemp as the supressing vote scandal has hit Kemp.

If Abrams wins or even comes close will confirm a view that Georgia is becoming a swing state and that in the not so distant future, could be up for grabs in presidential elections.

Many Republicans House seats are in grave danger across the country as Democrats are in double digit leads to win back those districts. Many ads painting Democrats as "communists" and "illegal immigrant backers" have back-fired against them. President Trump's praise for "Nationalism" and appeal to White Supremacist Voters has not been easy for them to counter after praising the president when his approval rating was at a high.

They're already seeing record numbers of early votes.

The key to ousting the Republicans is with youth. If young adults would get out and vote the entire face of politics would change. Over 70% of the 65+ age group voted in 2016, but only about 45% of people 18 to 29. 59% of Millennials lean Democrat, compared to 32% who lean Republican. All other age groups the Democrat/Republican mix is fairly close (usually within the margin of error).

Why do they want to win? Hell, I'll admit I don't even know the difference between the 2 parties. I'm, uh, a certain age and don't associate with either. If everyone just voted for the person who advertised the least (and therefore needed the job over the people who have more than enough money) we wouldn't be in this mess.

While there are many things wrong with the underlying nature of campaigning and the funds involved, and a large-scale movement of voting for the person who advertises the least could be an effective way to undermine that, the fact that you're basing that on the idea of who most needs the job is a pretty massive misunderstanding of the whole situation.
