Its the first movie (on VHS) I personally got to choose to buy at a store, as opposed to my parents picking something out, and its also the first movie I bought on Blu-Ray (for nostalgia). Kovu is from a group of lions that are almost definitely just exiled former members of the main pride, and its hinted that Scar was probably his father.
