I remember this happening with The Last of Us. I watched a snippet of gameplay because I was curious to learn what the game was like, and there was completely blatant spoiler video in the recommendeds. *flustered gibberish that ends with a prolonged groan of misery*

I mean, Youtube has been crap since 2006 but it's like they're constantly finding ways to make it worse and worse and worse. If not for the fact that it's the most popular platform and literally everyone and everything is already there, I'd love to just abandon it.

Honestly the annoying part is how the right sidebar now just doubles down on recommended videos for you instead of showing several similar videos to the one you're watching

EX: I'm watching a Slam Jam and want to find more Slam Jams, but the right sidebar is full of stuff I normally watch, like NFL clips, To Catch A Predator, and DBZ Super clips.

Whereas previously the sidebar would be filled with more slam jams.

If I want to see my recommended videos, I'll just go to the homepage.

Also some blame lies with the assholes who think it's okay to put spoilers in their titles.
