I had a boyfriend a few years ago who told me he just started playing League of Legends. I played Dota but I was interested in learning LoL so we started playing together. Of course I told him I was experienced in moba but he was really into playing sports IRL so I think he assumed LoL would be more like a sport and he'd just be good and I'd be really bad.

Well the first few games of course I was a total noob but it didn't take long before I just became waaaay better than him. And it caused a lot of problems in the relationship. He wouldn't listen to advice and would start beating up his computer if he lost. It honestly took months of playing together (which lasted longer than the relationship) before he was able to see the difference between us and not get angry about it but ask for help (and ranked boosting).

I guess but she prefers competitive games
