disruptive posting violation according to this one mod. Just thought I'd let others know that apparently replying to a series of topics with legit answers is considered "mass bumping". I'd love to know what mod is following me around though. I must have received about 6 moderation today for absolutely nothing.

I got cancelled on x360a for posting in a two-week old thread that their system hadn't archived which I found on the first page of an unpopular game (Bulletwitch). The reason I got cancelled is because I messaged the doucher mod who suspended me for it and let him know how I felt.

Considering it has been for more than a decade, that one mod is absolutely correct.

They usually only drop the hammer on it if it's clear that you're deliberately boosting every topic by a specific user, or if you're bumping a lot of fad topics. And they're definitely more inclined to take you down if you bump it just by posting something no-content like "bump" as opposed to actually responding to topics with more in-depth replies.

But it's always been considered disruptive.

I mean they decided to mod me five times in a row so who is really "flooding the normal flow" of things? Besides of course I'm going to appeal when this mod clearly is wrong.

Stop posting in these daily Blah Blah Blah Blah #xxxx topics. The TCs of these threads should be the ones modded for disruptive posting. Nine times out of ten if I see a user do this enough they just go on my ignore list because nothing of value every comes from Who is your favorite super hero #5500.

Doesn't help that one of the people who started this trend here (Slayer) gets special treatment and is one of the crew that does mass disruptive posting on the boards.

That's what confuses me too, ok? If it's indeed disruptive posting replying to a series of topics of a message board wouldn't logic suggest to just remove said topics and stop that possibility of happening?

It's often the case. I got modded for "trolling" because I said I hope Sunny loses his phone when he was blatantly being smug about having his phone have zero security. However mass topics being made? Yeah that's perfectly fine. I've gave up trying to work out the logic of these mods though. Thanks for the input man!

Its just favoritism towards users that are active in certain communities / friends with certain mods.
Also some of these posters are actively collecting and selling data they've collected through conducting these polls / surveys. It's politically incorrect to prevent these people from making a living but anyone can be fired for any reason from a corporation.

Seems so to be honest. Most the time I see a moderation notification pop up, read what it was for and it makes absolutely no sense, ok?

Keep in mind that it only gets looks at for moderation if someone reports it.

The real question here is that someone or multiple people saw whatever you said to be fit for moderation.

It is possible that mods are just browsing, though they generally don't take action unless it's a severe violation of the rules, and in those, you could end up with an immediate ban.

Nope. Mods actively lurk and mod responses for shits and giggles. I see no reason why anyone would report those posts I made at all.
