Quite a lot and I feel you almost had to in order to finish highly

I had Tifa winning her division and Zelda running through the bracket bailed me out of my Snake > Mario pick. Cloud bring rallied over Mario cost me 1st place though.

I know the person in 1st had Zelda making the finals so they benefitted a lot

I had X and Squall beating them, respectively. Tifa's rallies did nothing but hurt me and conceivably kept me from getting first. Zelda's hurt initially but ultimately saved me from dropping into oblivion when she beat Mario, assuming Mario > Snake (which is probably the case, but that Samus/Snake match feels off compared to everything else we saw, so I'm not sure how much to read into it).

I think I've got about a 10% chance given the above responses.

But I did the calculations: in the best case, I win a $25 gift card, pay ~$8 in state and local taxes (CA), $10 for notary fees (many charge $15 now = max allowed by state law), and ~$3 in bus fares or gas to reach the notary, leaving about $4 in net profit.

This is assuming the requirements are the same as the last contest I won a decade+ ago. They asked me for my SSN & a signed+notarized prize claim form.
