I bought her DLC this morning but haven't had the chance to play her yet. My favorite styles before this were Raphael, Talim, and Geralt, so hopefully 2B is as fun to use as those three.

They've got new files that were datamined when the patch was added.

We could've gotten characters with different styles, but instead we're getting more aggressive Sophitia and loli Raphael.

And yes, they're the last two high placing characters in the popularity poll to not make it in but it's still disappointing.

For me thats pretty disappointing, but I know a lot of people actually wanted that too. Shouldve had Hwang at the least then one of those two

I don't care about Cassandra, but considering how much I enjoy playing Raphael, I might enjoy playing Amy as well. I barely played SC4 at all, so I have no idea what the differences between Amy and Raphael were in that game.

im not buying a "season pass" that contains characters they intentionally cut from the game to re-sell as DLC. and i think $6 for one character is a bit too much so i'll wait until the character pack goes on sale for cheap

Thats not quite what happened at least with 2B. And you also get her style for CAS which is more than you can say for other fighters that charge that much.

Idk how Amy even canonically fits for 6.

Were Cass and Amy planned to be playable though? I mean yeah they have in-game dialogue and portraits, but so does my man Hwang and there hasnt been a single peep about him

100% right with tira though. Such a boneheaded move to make her playable in the beta but dlc for the game

Raphael serves a very important purpose, which is to teach new players how to reliably parry.

Assuming the datamine is correct, the DLC characters are four-for-four girls. It's pretty obvious they don't care about variety and know waifus will sell, even though you have to pay for Tira who is literally the worst character in the game right now.

My gf unironically likes playing as Tira and I for the life of me cant figure out why

They would have had more room for Hwang, who I also wanted, but instead they put a robot that in no way matches the tone of the game.

I'm only being sorta serious. I don't mind 2B in the game. I'd just prefer more actual Soulcalibur characters. It'd also have been nice if at least a couple of 2B's weapons, and more importantly the pod, were done in some sort of medieval style so you could CAS it without it looking ridiculous.
