So my question is why are they doing all this with Hulu when the Disney streaming thing is right around the corner?

Disney+ is intended to be family friendly and Disney owns like half of Hulu, so they've already said any more adult content will be headed to Hulu.

It's also partially why Disney+ is at such a low price point, in their recent investors meeting they outright said they want people getting both it and Hulu.

But they're going to split these shows across the two different services? That seems odd. I can only assume these two shows won't be part of the MCU?

They'll likely be similar to Agents of SHIELD where they're canon but the shows reference the movies and not vice versa.

the premise of this ep is just so... dumb

like it's not a massively frustrating or annoying plot by arrow standards but uh just questioning all Team Arrow one after another accusing them of something they obviously didn't do... who cares about anything happening here

also they *seriously* need to flip flopping Dinah's loyalties however so-and-so episode demands of her, they've been doing it forever

Did you finish watching it? It does seem dumb for a while but it kind of pays off well. It does say something though that the first reaction isn't "hmm, something seems off here, maybe there's more going on" but "hmm, something seems off here, man these writers are terrible".

I hated the ending too! I mean you always know there's going to be a "twist" or "something more to it" with this kind of setup, but what the twist was ain't something to make me happy - finally getting Roy back and then oops btw he was Lazarus Pit'd off-screen and now he accidentally got some security folks killed. The end leading to Emiko blackmailing/leaking the tape to get Oliver in trouble with the public again is definitely not a plot I'm looking forward to covering.

however I will say I enjoyed seeing Roy's parkouring back, and that shot through the ventilation fan ohyeahh

Oh cool, I liked that guy as Ghost Rider. I don't know what a Helstrom is though.

Not surprising they're already flexing their 60%-of-Hulu muscles, though I kinda wish the Loki show would've been on Hulu too in that case.

Reading up on him, I see he was in the Defenders and married Hellcat (Trish Walker), so I wonder if this show will be able to incorporate any of the characters from the Netflix shows.

AoS S6 is off to a strong start. Definitely can feel the budget increase. And blonde Daisy is smokin' hot.

Yeah, Daisy looks awesome. But on the other side, Simmons looks pretty bad. Those bangs are ugly and do not work for her.

Blonde Daisy is just aghdjkvnigjvndsinsdjisdnivsnisvnisniuusrgnvjksodscp. That guy getting leglocked is the luckiest dude in the universe. I mean, sure, it was probably a stunt person doing the leglock but in that universe, you know?!

Aside from that, I really enjoyed the first episode. It hooked me much more than the start of season five. I'm a bit sad that there's no snap, because I think it would be such a great setting for a TV-show, but I can also understand why they don't do it, because it would probably also be quite dark. Also a bit annoyed with another 'Fitz off to the sidelines' plot, but well, we'll see how it develops.

I think this is just a mirror to where they are as people. Daisy is living her best life; she's an Avengers-level character who has mastered her powers and is a known threat in the universe. Simmons is disheveled, because she's desperate to find Fitz and can't be bothered to do anything other than completely focus every bit of her energy into finding him.

Eesh. Read a summary and it sounded positively awful. I don't understand what next season will even be, but I don't know how anyone should be interested in it.

Also, I can't believe they actually killed Diaz like they did earlier in the season. I would have sworn to you he'd come back.

Emiko's just in a really terrible position as a big bad because a redemption arc is so played out on Arrow, but she is a god awful heel with terribly unconvincing motivations.

also the Ninth Circle's just a more laughably bad version of s3 League of Shadows so like there's just nothing to be interested in

We can only hope. Otherwise what is the season even going to be about? Will it not even have Oliver in it? Anyway, this season started off pretty strong but then took a sharp nosedive into one of, if not the worst seasons. Emiko was a horrible big bad.

Alright Flash at least you can still end an excruciatingly painful slog of a season with an entertaining finale. Like I still think Cicada's the worst villain ever but at least I'm still following the plot and then Reverse Flash stuff is there to be rad. Nice to be reminded what it's like to have a good villain on this show.

tho I completely laughed my ass off when the time sphere came out and bumped RF oh god that was silly... but then Iris shooting RF in that team effort attack was the unenjoyable type of silliness

but also god dammit Flash how the hell dare you tease something really cool and fun like Negative Speedforce Remnant Nora only to just abort mission and take it away like that

I always thought the ratings didn't actually accurately depict the number of people watching Lucifer. I always heard way more buzz about Lucifer than a middling FOX show would normally get.

Finally got around to watching Agents of SHIELD. I liked it, but am really bothered that they are just ignoring the snap.

Just finished Lucifer, really loved this season, it being on Netflix definitely helped better serialize the story without losing that comfy case-of-the-week format. I especially liked how prior cases carried on more through the episodes. Dad forbid it gets cancelled again, but I would be fine with the ending this time at least too.

I managed to squeeze the time to finish it last night too. Awesome season. Still the best show I watch. I am kind of disappointed it was only 10 episodes, but from all the stats coming out and it topping the charts of most streamed on its debut week, I feel like Netflix will bring it on for at least another season.

Eve is an awesome character btw. She was such a delight to watch in every episode she was in.

great opening, just started up s2 but man Linda is one of my favourite characters ever, and I've just always really liked the Luci cast a lot

... damn Detective Douche regressing tho, he's been enjoyable since s2! :(
