Attack on Titan Season 3.5 Episode 6 complete

R.I.P. Ervin, but I think letting him die here the way he did was the right call, especially since it ended up being his choice in the end, giving his life for his troops. Plus, for once, Eren was right. Armin has become the better tactician and strategist and might actually give them the better chance for survival, all things considered.

also man I wish Bertholdt hadn't woken up right before getting eaten; it was tough enough watching the better of the trio die while Reiner keeps getting absurdly lucky without that

and for some reason I thought the Beast Titan was Eren's dad but I guess not

Erwin was clearly trying to raise Armin up as his successor and I think if he had been of sound mind he'd tell them all to save Armin (I interpreted his knocking Levi's arm out of the way as him being delirious and re-living his past and raising his hand; Levi just chose to interpret it as he did. I honestly didn't like that part of it. Felt too... corny? Cheap? I swear I'm forgetting the word I want here. I think Levi should have come to the decision on his own between Hange's speech, that Scout making it clear this was just going to perpetuate Erwin's suffering, and his own convo with Erwin pre-charge), but I think Levi and Hange had the correct assessment at the moment that Erwin was the better choice overall. Armin is shown as having the higher ceiling though it's tempered by the fact that unlike Erwin it's a bit more uneven and he's prone to freaking out still like when he passed command to Jean there for a while.

And we know Eren ate his dad to gain his Titan shifting powers (after Eren's dad stole it from Historia's sister) so him managing to be alive and the Beast Titan would be a total wtf.

Oh right, I finished a rewatch of The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato the other day. It's a pretty solid slice of life rom-com. I wish they'd make a season 2 now that the manga is finished. I just want some sort of Haruhi-related anime to finish, darn it.

You can miss 14 AP all game and still reach A0. I haven't been keeping track of how many you missed but I think it hasn't reached 15 yet?

Well, I think I've only missed one sidequest altogether. Everything else has just been missing AP here and there for not meeting battle conditions or something like that.

In the "Falcom putting their thumb on the scales of canon" side of things (other bonding event spoilers?), Rean/Alisa is the only one there to feature an actual kiss.

As I mentioned, anyone you had the option to pick for that scene you'll be able to view their scene from the main menu later after you beat the game. At least I think you need Clear Data to unlock the Extras section.

robotics;notes is probably the weakest of the series, but it's still really good. much better than the anime of it imho.

Zero no Kiseki chapter 1 beated

Thought this was going to be a relatively boring chapter, but I liked the way everything came together at the end of it. Also laying the groundwork for some pretty neat plotlines later on related to Revache and the Crossbell government, which is actually one aspect of the story I don't know much about. (I've been spoiled on many things but it's mostly Ouroboros-related stuff, and I'm sure they're involved in this to but whatever)

Also I love how in this series any time two important characters meet each other they have to recognize each other using their chuuni nicknames that everyone seems to have, and it always makes me giddy no matter how stupid it is. Renne/Arios at the end of the chapter a pretty cool scene though.

Also I just want to say that Estelle is a treasure.

The anime's faithful, but it marginalizes Jun to the point where she might as well not exist, skips Nae's route, and ignores Twitter entirely (and there's a lot of relevant plot in the Twitter segments).

I watched that Murder Mystery movie on Netflix with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. They played the mystery aspect straighter than I thought they would, which is nice because I like mysteries. The dynamic between the characters was pretty solid, too.

Zero no Kiseki chapter 2 beated.

Definitely a high/top tier Trails chapter. (It's not quite on the level of say SC chapter 6, but still...) I don't really have a lot of specifics to comment on, but this whole chapter was just a microcosm of everything that I love about this series. Obviously the highlight was the Arc-en-ciel performance, but it was great from start to finish.

It was nice to be surprised by at least one of the main twists, despite knowing a good chunk of stuff ahead of time. (significant Zero no Kiseki spoilers) Unsurprisingly I already knew about Yin's identity (though the reveal was still cool anyway), but Earnest's role in this was something that caught me completely off-guard and was pretty cool. I hope he wasn't being mind-controlled but there's a good chance he was..oh well. Poor Elie...

I definitely did not bother with this in my playthrough. I did a few of them that I could find and which my party already had the right characters for, but that is pretty much it. There are some characters and such I just wanted to completely ignore lol.

Finally got around to watching Star Wars: Rogue One yesterday. Fun movie. K-2SO best droid. The ending (I'm using an extended definition of ending, like the last 45 minutes) was really good.

AoT S3.II "The Basement" Episode 7: Man, they just put a knife in my title gag with this episode title. lmao at the key not going to the door and levi just kicking the door down. also i could have sworn i heard a water sound effect just before when they opened the cover to the stairs so i kinda laughed when Hange immediately said "Good, I was worried it may have flooded by now." The music in the first half was really cool too.

Also, my memory may be bad, but at one point they flashed back to Erwin telling the Scouts that Intel suggested Eren's basement had vital info. Annie was in the crowd. Did he really make such an announcement that early? Although I forget what they were doing when they were out when Annie attacked them as the Female Titan so maybe it was right before that?

For some reason, the art style felt a little different at first, but I wonder if it may have been because it was actually bright and colorful outside for a change. This episode was quite the tease for something much bigger in the last three episodes, so I'm excited to see where it leads.

Oh right, I also watched Star Wars Episode II over the weekend with my girlfriend. She said she liked it, although she definitely cringed a few times at how bad the acting was at certain parts. She loved the Yoda lightsaber duel.

Yeah, the second half of the movie in particular is a real treat, one of the highlights of the entire MCU. I thought it was a good way to transition into the next phase of the MCU as a passing of the torch, too.
