This is the worst Disney Park.

People are camped out in the line anyway.

Tower of Terror, Midway Mania(i think midway is dropped here for some reason actually but its a clone), and rockn are all already packed.

Just riding Mater Clone because i have fastpasses for the 3 above.

No signs of Slinky opening soon.

I am literally here to ride Slinky Dog and Tower of Terror.

Everything else is clones and a not greatly themed roller coaster.

They are about park dispersion and theoretically increase standby wait times throughout the park.

But on an individual basis the time waited in a fastpass line will be anywhere from 5 to 25 percent of the total standby line.

Okay that's good. My plan is to fast pass 3 early rides and keep refreshing it thru out the day. Run to first ride. Fast pass one for like an hour later and the rest for like 45 mins each after. Then refresh it. Ad infinitum.

Also the price to deliciousness ratio on food here is horrible compared to Disneyland. If you arent spending more than 20 dollars on an item chances are it is nothing but standard amusement park fare.

Some of the better meals at Disneyland can be had for under 10 dollars.

I was upset and needed to stuff my face with comfort food so i made last minute reservations at 50s prime time cafe.

Menu is a mix of plaza inn and carnation cafe at Disneyland. Food was good the in character cm's were fun. Dont think young kids would get the joking but all the adults inside had fun.

I will say that mobile ordering was amazing, nothing like seeing a bunch of people in line and then you just walk up and get your stuff

Mobile order is way more effective at Disneyland. Too many of the quick service restaurants here are low quality items.

Disneyland has a lot of high demand eating areas on mobile order.

Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios

I've only done MK and Epcot personally. I usually think Red bashes DW because he's a DL homer but in my experience I didn't eat any good at Disney World that was better than "adequate". Which is fine if you're rolling with the kids.

Nah just Studios. The park is basically getting a total revamp for a reason.

Animal Kingdom and Epcot are great and unique.

Magic Kingdom is not better than Disneyland but fine.

Disney World is better for a week Disneyland is better for a day. They serve different purposes.

Food is no contest Disneyland though and they've stepped up their game with even more limited time offerings.

Quick service here is too much hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and really horrible looking individual pizzas.

fair enough.

and I'll just echo one more time, the food at DW wasn't very good but I'm sure there are some good places if you can get into them. Mostly we just needed bland calories for the kids. I think we got too many snacks in our plan, but we got to load up on candies at the gift store on the way out - it's bad value but at least you don't completely lose what you didn't use.

As far as food goes, Satouli in AK, the China quick service place in Epcot, and Pecos Bill's in MK are all a bit above the rest of the typical theme park food IMO. I used to work at Disney World so I was there all the time and I only just went to Disneyland for the first time a month ago, and yeah DL food is better.

The food is great. For a Disney park.

But ultimately when you're serving thousands a day you can only do so much quality wise. It's actually impressive what they manage to do given the guest count.

Snacks - I mainly used them at Garden Festival and for a couple floats in MK (Dole Whip was alright, I dont think its that unique to your typical Ice Cream place)

Also Via Napoli has some really good very splittable reasonably priced pizzas.

They make me feel bad for anyone buying the quick service individual pizzas you see everywhere.

The quick service pizza at Disneyland is actually decent and costs less.

If I ever go to Disney World, I decided to just stick with Epcot and Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom seems so much worse because of its gimped Fast Pass system, and I've heard nothing but crap about Hollywood Studios (I know they'll open Galaxy's Edge there, but they have that at Disneyland too).

The evening hours they have at magic Kingdom should be fine because all the kids tire out and leave but I'll update that Wednesday (the park is open til 1am!).

Crowds are medium to high right now but likely picking up in the coming weeks.

Last time i was here was labor day week it was totally empty but also miserably hot and humid. I personally selected that week but i like this atmosphere and weather better, which kind of surprises me.

Magic Kingdom has some good stuff.

Apart from Seven Dwarfs, what does it have that Anaheim Disney lacks? Not hating or anything, just curious because they seem so similar but with Anaheim having huge bonuses like Indiana Jones and now Galaxy's Edge.

I'd still go just to see it once, but learning about the Fastpass system in Florida really culled my excitement. In a full day at the SoCal park, I could probably get close to ten Fastpasses and rarely wait longer than 20 minutes for anything. Based on my sister's experience in Magic Kingdom, that just isn't feasible there.
