"We should go there," you say excitedly.

"What? Really?"

"Well, we'll be in Oregon before the end of our road trip," you say. "We can cut up north through Canada to get into the Arctic Circle."

"Are you sure?" she asks. "We could return to Jump City first, then have our trip all the way to the Arctic Circle from there."

"But it'd be far easier to do our trip while we're still on the road," you say. "We still have all our luggage, so your winter wear will come in handy as we go further up north."

"But what if Titans North expects us to visit?" Raven asks. "And specifically, I mean if Jinx expects us to visit."

"Then we can visit," you shrug. "It doesn't have to be for very long. We can just say hi, catch up on things, and continue on to the Arctic Circle."

Raven grumbles while stabbing lettuce with her fork.

"This won't be for a few days," you say to her, trying to ease her begrudging. "We will have plenty of fun at all the other locations before getting there."

Raven still grumbles, just softer, as she brings lettuce to her mouth. She munches and chews the lettuce while she sits back on her bed.

You two watch the movie, enjoying Chris Pratt being the funny yet sensible raptor trainer. It's a rather heart-pounding moment when he has to save the young pig catcher from the team of four raptors, while also risking his own life.

"Thinking about it," you say, "Jurassic Park, the very first film, was a dinosaur themed horror movie."

You can tell Raven is thinking on that statement.

"Oh, yeah, I guess so," she says. "The classic elements of starting innocently enough, and then it takes a turn in the second act."

"Precisely," you say.

And now in Jurassic World, it starts to take that similar turn as the red-head director of operations shows Pratt the newest dinosaur attraction, the "Indominus Rex." It is a dinosaur their genetics lab created, and that already worries Pratt. As does the claw marks on the stone walls of the holding pen.

Pratt and some staff check the pen and inspect the claw marks. They wonder if the Indominus climbed out, and have the command center check the GPS tracker. The signal of the GPS tracker implanted in the Indominus is still in the holding pen! And at that moment, the Indominus shows itself from the trees!

"Whoa," Raven says. "Pretty nasty looking."

The door to the pen is wide open, and everyone realizes the danger. Pratt and the others hurry as the door closes, but too late! The Indominus eats one man, and then busts the door apart! Pratt gets under a truck to hide, but the other and much more portly man is not so lucky, as he gets CHOMPED by the Indominus!

"Oof...!" Raven says as she dips a chicken nugget.

Pratt saves himself from being found by pulling the truck's fuel line and letting the gasoline sprinkle all over him. The Indominus only smells gasoline, so it moves on from Pratt. However, that means it heads out towards the rest of the Jurassic World park.

You and Raven finish up your light dinner as Pratt argues with the others about the situation, and the park security is sent in. Pratt wants to know why they're not using lethal force, and the explanation is that the creation of the Indominus was an insane amount of money, so the dinosaur is too valuable an asset to just kill.

You won't worry about dessert tonight, you just dispose of the salad bowls and chicken nugget box. Then you and Raven relax as you watch the rest of the movie.

In the end, the Indominus is defeated by the last surviving raptor that Pratt trained, as well as the original Tyrannosaurus Rex, and eventually the mosasaurus that was in the water! It drags Indominus down to the depths to both drown and devour it.

"Welp, that was pretty good," Raven says as the survivors are reunited and the story ends happily.

"Yes, a fairly good start to a new trilogy," you say. "So, for tomorrow morning, I was picturing getting out on the road..."

"After breakfast. We'll get something more here, pack up and head out with a slightly earlier check-out."

"Sounds good to me," Raven shrugs.

With that, you and Raven take turns brushing your teeth and washing up in the bathroom. You sleep in your separate beds this time as you turn out the lights.

In the morning, you put in another order to room service.

"Yes, hello," you say to the person on the other end. "I would like to order some breakfast. Another order of scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, hashbrowns, and pancakes."

"Right away, sir," the person says.

"Thank you," you say.

You hang up and wait for the bell hop to arrive. He knocks and you open the door to let him wheel the breakfast cart in. You thank the bell hop with a tip and then you and Raven eat.

"I know we had these the other day, but they're still pretty good the second time," Raven says.

"Mhm," you say.

After you two eat up and wash it all down with milk, you brush your teeth again and pack up. It doesn't take long, you didn't leave much out and about the room. Then you go downstairs and to the front counter to check out now rather than at noon. You and Raven return to Shadowfax and get back on the road.

Your destiny is Orange Beach in Alabama, but it'll take several hours just to go from Orlando to the pan handle of Florida.

You will wait until Orange Beach, as it will only slow you down to stop and eat.

However, you're realizing the trip between Orlando and Orange Beach is longer than you realized. As you reach the pan handle and admire the countryside, and as good as that breakfast was, your stomach starts to growl as you go past 1 PM. Around 1:30, you can't take it. You slow down a bit so you can talk to Raven.

"We still have the corn bread, right?" you ask.

"Yeah," she says. "Are you feeling hungry?"

"Yes," you say. "I wanted to make it to Orange Beach, but I didn't realize it was so far away."

"I'll fetch the corn bread," she says.

She rummages in the knapsack, and pulls out the little box from Fuel BBQ. She opens it up, and you each heat up one before biting. The corn bread is still dry and crumby but you scarf yours down fast enough that it doesn't really matter.

"Do you think you can make it to Orange Beach?" Raven asks. "We're not even out of Florida yet."

"There's no way we can make it," you say. "Let's keep our eyes open for something."

You pick up a little speed to get through the marshland, but it's pretty open out here. However, you see a little rest stop coming. It seems to be a gas station, a Holiday Inn, a McDonald's and a Waffle House diner.

You pull up to the dinner and park up front.

"Waffle House?" Raven says. "We already had breakfast for breakfast, why would we have it again?"

"Being a diner, the Waffle House has more than waffles," you say. "And at the same time, we can sit down and dicuss our travel schedule."

"Such as how we're still a couple hours away from Orange Beach?" Raven asks.

"Yes, and how Orange Beach is still hours away from... Wait, where are these Delta Crossroads that a devil is supposedly haunting?"

"Clarksdale," she says. "I think it's in northern Mississippi."

"That's probably another seven hours," you say. "We definitely wouldn't arrive in Clarksdale until after dark."

"We've arrived in places pretty late before," Raven shrugs as the two of you enter inside. "I don't see the problem doing it this time."

"Very true," you say. "Okay, we'll ride out all the way to Clarksdale, even if we arrive really late. But that means we'll have to worry about getting dinner on the way there."

"We'll worry about dinner when it's dinner time," Raven says. "Let's look at what's for lunch."

"Of course," you say as you two take a table.

You pick up a menu and look over the combination lunch and dinner section. The images on the menu look very appetizing, but that's how all pictured foods would be. That gets you wondering how the Magic Melting Pot's menus will look. For now, you consider the main categories the Waffle House has.

You'll try these "Texas Melts." The pictured "Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt" looks rather lovely, but again, pictures are not the reality. But it surely can't be that awful in real-life.

The Texas Angus Patty Melt sounds nice, like a burger "on a raft." Grilled chicken melt and sausage melt also seem nice, but you will stick with this bacon cheesesteak to test the ratio of picture to reality.

"How y'all doin' today?" the waitress asks very sweetly as she walks up to your table.

"Very good, actually," you say.

"What can I get you?" she asks.

"I will have the Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt," you say. "Medium well on the cheesesteak."

"Okay," the waitress says. "And you, dear?"

"Um, I'll have a grilled cheese," Raven says. "But, on Texas Toast."

"Any sides? Fries? Hashbrowns?"

"Hashbrowns sound good," you say.

"I'll have fries, actually," Raven says.

"And drinks?" the waitress asks.

You double check the menu for the drinks section, and find it near the bottom.

"Barq's Root Beer for me," you say.

"Just a Cola for me," Raven says.

"Okay," the waitress says. "I'll be back with the drinks first, and then the meals as they're ready."

"Thank you," you say.

The waitress goes to the kitchen at the back while you and Raven sit and watch the world outside the window.

"I was wondering how we should do the menus," you say. "Should we have the occasional picture or just stick to text?"

"I think with your theme being the melting pot," Raven says, "you can have a bit of both. We can do the held menu as your all-text menu, but have a menu board somewhere to put pictures to the specials."

"That might work," you say. "Oh, and dessert! We shouldn't forget desserts."

"Oh, yeah!" she says. "Can we put that chocolate checkerboard cake on the menu? I loved that."

"Well, that might be more of a special item for special occasions," you say. "That takes a lot of preparation on top of the resources needed."

"Alright," she says. "But what would you have then? Other than obvious things, like pies or ice cream."

"Well, there is one thing that I'd love to have as part of the dessert menu," you say.

"A soft serve machine."

"Really?" Raven asks. "Soft serve ice cream is your dream?"

"I wouldn't say it's my dream," you chuckle. "But I would love to have one as part of our dessert menu. Soft serve is such a great invention for ice cream. No scooping too big or too small, because the machine will pour at the same rate. We can have the waffle cones, chocolate and vanilla, maybe even one with a mixed dispenser."

"Well alright," Raven chuckles. "Soft serve is pretty nice."

"Exactly," you say. "It'll be a big hit, especially with the younger customers."

The waitress returns and sets down glasses in front of you.

"Customers?" she asks. "Y'all're entree-pawn-yours?"

"No, no," you chuckle. "But I am strongly considering opening a restaurant."

"Ohhh~!" the waitress says. "Is it going to be all fancy?"

"No, no, it'll be more of a blended establishment," you say. "We'll have a good variety of items on the menu for lunch and dinner."

"Oh, hopefully you won't steal any ideas then," she teases. "Alright, I'll be right back with your meals."

She walks away again while you and Raven stick straws in your drinks. The two of you sip at the same time, and you both realize you have the cola and she has the root beer. You take your straws out and switch glasses to take another sip.

"Well, I am curious what exactly you'll have on the menu," Raven says. "Would you have burgers?"

"Well of course I'd have burgers," you say. "Burgers are very popular."

"How complex would you get on those?" she asks.

"I'd like to offer a Build Your Own type menu," you say. "We'd have a list of available ingredients to add to the basic patty and buns."

"Well then, similar to before," Raven says. "What wouldn't you put on a burger?"

"Well, we can't have the list be too long," you say. "We can't account for someone wanting something out of the box."

"But there has to be something," she says. "Would you do a vegan burger?"
