"Would you be alright with having breakfast here?" you ask her. "I think we just need to rest a bit after that long, long plane trip."

"Yeah, I'm definitely fine with that," she says. "I wouldn't mind sleeping in a little."

"Then we'll plan on some room service for breakfast in bed tomorrow," you say.

"Sounds good," Raven says as she scoots closer. "So... What do you want to do for the rest of tonight?"

"Why don't we just watch some television?" you ask.

"Oh," she says, a little surprised. "Well, sure, why not?"

You grab the remote and turn on the television while Raven scoots over to sit closer.

"Let's see what there is," you say as you scroll through the cable guide. "Oh, Sportscenter."

"... keeps the Mountain City Avalanche alive going into the Ninth," the newscaster says.

Then a graphic comes up with "9TH INNING" in it, to cue up new highlights.

"Top of the Ninth," the newscaster says. "Hughes keeps the heat going, and strikes out Coughlin and Lojacono in six pitches. However, it was Lupfer who would get a big solo home run to tie things back up. Hughes would make up for it with striking Henry out in five, but the pressure was back on the batters.

"Bottom of the Ninth now, and all the Avalanche needed was a walk-off run. Delvy popped out to center field, but Cranston would manage a double. Mahony would foul off four of the nine pitches it took to get him out, but it would serve to wear Lippincott's arm out a bit more as Hinkle would come up to bat. Lippincott would throw two balls before Hinkle would smash one all the way to left field!

"It would hit the wall and bounce around, slowing down Spoonts' efforts to field it. Hinkle himself wouldn't need to get home, because Cranston would score and win it for the Avalanche!"

"So that's the team we'll be going to see in Colorado?" Raven asks.

"Yes," you say. "I hope they're this good when we do."

You go back to the guide and find news. The weather report is looking good, with plenty of sun in Florida, and in the general area. That makes for promising travel weather as you leave Florida into Alabama and Mississippi.

"That'll make for a lovely day at the beach tomorrow," you say.

"Oh that's right, you want to go to the beach," she says. "So, I guess if I've already done peekaboo belly button, and I'm obviously wearing my bikini right now, then my backless one piece will be for tomorrow."

"That's fine by me," you say. "We'll make sure to go..."

"That sounds nice," she says. "We'll take it easy in the morning, see some sights here in Orlando, then have some fun at the beach."

"Exactly," you say.

You change the channel again to go from news back to sports recaps.

"Manchester United's-"

"Bleh," you say.

"-manager has been arrested after an altercation with FC Porto fans over comments he made on social media."

"Hah!" you say.

THe footage plays of the MUFC manager swinging hands with some bulky Portuguese men. The MUFC manager manages to land a few shots before getting hit right in the teeth with a beer bottle.

"OH!" you and Raven let out as you see it in slow motion.

"You should not be happy about seeing that," Raven says.

"Well, if it was anyone else, certainly," you say. "But he's clearly a tosser for saying stuff that angered fans."

"I'm pretty sure that's something mean," she says.

"Yes, it is," you say.

"But what did he even say?" Raven asks.

"Let me check," you say as you go online.

You search for this news and find the MUFC manager's Twitter. You go there and scroll along.

"Oh," you say. "Well see? This is why he got a beer bottle to the mouth."

You show Raven.

"Oh, wow...!" she says. "Yeah, that can't be repeated out loud."

"A beer bottle might have been a bit much," you say, "but it wasn't unwarranted."

"I suppose," she says as she hands the phone back.

"Honestly, I don't really care either way, but they should look into replacing the man," you say. "He can't be a good manager mouthing off online while not being able to speak with his actual mouth."

"Is there anything other than sports talk?" Raven asks. "I'd even take live sports since it'd be happening."

You go back to the cable guide and scroll around. You settle on...

"Oh, 'All About Puppetry.' Sounds fun."

"Puppetry?" she says as you go to the channel. "I dunno..."

"Not much for puppets?" you ask.

"Well, certainly not after the Puppet King did those body swaps," she says.

"Oh that's true," you say. "But it'll be okay, this surely isn't about evil puppets."

The cameras watch a puppet craftsman putting felt on a head mold. The fabric is pinned down and measurements are taken before cuts are made. Eyes are put on in the form of felt circles, and then a nose that is a felt ball, but no hair. The puppet's head is kept in that shape with a hard plastic shell, and then the inside of the mouth is worked on.

"That's actually really neat," Raven says.

The puppet eventually gets a body for the puppeteer's arm to go inside, and then arms of its own, which are controlled by sticks. In true Muppets fashion, the puppet "screams" and flails his arms as a test of the construction. You and Raven chuckle.

Other puppets are made, both felt Muppets and even some traditional wooden marionettes. Raven scowls at some of the puppets with nutcracker mouths. She is also not that pleased with seeing the demonstration of how the marionettes work.

"It's alright," you say, wrapping your arm around her and patting her on the shoulder. "It's alright."

The mechanics of the wooden puppets are shown and explained, and it's very fascinating seeing the levers and switches to move the eyes and eyebrows.

"I guess that's why the eyes never look dead center," Raven says. "It's either up for left or down for right, no real middle ground."

"No, I've seen some that can stay in the middle," you say. "Just more advanced ones."

"You had a mostly normal childhood," Raven says. "Were there any puppet shows like this you watched along with all those other British shows?"

"A few," you say. "My personal favorite was..."

"Captain Scarlet!"

"What is Captain Scarlet?" Raven asks.

"Well, the full name would be Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons," you say. "And it was very much a puppet hero show. Captain Scarlet works for the secret agency known as Spectrum, and battles the Mysterons, a group of super-powered Martians that mainly have the power of partial control over matter. Somehow, as he battles the Mysterons, Captain Scarlet acquires their increased healing factor they refer to as 'reverse metabolism' and becomes more or less indestructible."

"So the Mysterons are the villains?"

"Yes, which does make for confusion as to why they're in the title."

"Yeah it sounded like Captain Scarlet was in charge of the Mysterons but they're enemies."

"Yes, a definitely odd choice. But that aside, it was a lot of fun for puppets and stop motion. Captain Scarlet, Captain Blue, Destiny Angel, Colonel White, and the other Spectrum Angels, Symphony, Melody, Rhapsody and Harmony would battle the Mysterons every week, but there would be one secret spy of the Mysterons embedded in Spectrum: Captain Black!"

"Ooo~!" Raven says, pretending to be amazed.

"Yes, it was certainly very 1960's, but I didn't mind watching its syndication run."

"Wow, the 60's? I'm surprised Mad Maud didn't use Control Freak's remote to bring them out."

"Yes, thinking back, that is a surprise," you say. "But perhaps for the best, if we'd have to worry about indestructible Captain Scarlet or the sinister Captain Black."

"Was he really that powerful?" Raven asks.

"Well his healing factor made up for a lot of what made him so strong," you say. "On top of that, he was a secret agent, so not exactly James Bond, but he still knows how to shoot a gun."

"That doesn't seem like a kids show," Raven says.

"Well yes, I was 13 when I watched the original series, and then the subsequent CGI reboot in 2005, 'The New Captain Scarlet.'"

"Was the reboot good?"

"Good enough," you shrug.

"What was your favorite part of the original?" she asks.

"The story, naturally," you say. "It was very much like Star Trek, picturing a mostly utopian society on Earth where there was no strife over social, ethnic or national differences. The cast of puppets was racially diverse, with the voice cast to match, and it was itself an optimistic look at what humans could accomplish. Plus the battle with the Martians made for a good theme that humans would need to work together against things bigger than each other."

"Huh. Alright."

"That seems like a rather plain reaction," you chuckle.

"It's because I understand," Raven defends. "It has a great and inspiring message."

"Exactly," you say as you recline back. "If anything, it's very similar to the Titans."

"Yeah, we are pretty diverse," Raven says as she reclines back, too.

"And you have one up on Captain Scarlet," you say. "You have a friendly alien on the team."

"Oh that's right," Raven says.

Raven settles in as the puppet documentary show moves to ventriloquism. It's incredibly impressive to see the ventriloquists at work.

"If you're comfortable there," you say, "you can stay. We really only have a couple nights in here, might as well spend one snuggled up together."

"Well okay," she giggles.

She wiggles a little closer to you, and you reach an arm around her shoulders. You watch the rest of the puppet documentary, seeing an actual performance featuring all the types of puppets. It's a rather delightful and whimsical performance, and again the muppet flails his arms while "screaming."

Raven gets up to wash up and brush her teeth, then returns to your bed as you take your turn in the bathroom. You return and enjoy looking at Raven reclined on the bed. She smiles at you as you climb into bed and settle in beside her again. She rests her head on your shoulder as you put your arm back around her.

The next documentary series isn't as interesting, with it being about lamps. You turn the television off and the two of you start drifting off. You turn off the lights before completely succumbing to sleep.

A few hours later, you wake up feeling a little uncomfortable. Raven is more on top of you, which is technically fine, but the Florida humidity is far stronger than anything in London or Greece. You feel rather clammy, so you ever so slowly move Raven off of you and essentially peel her away. You just as carefully slide off the bed to go back to the bathroom and wash off the clammy feeling on your chest. You make sure the door is closed so the light doesn't shine on Raven. Then you go back to the bed, carefully feeling your way in the dark.

You hear Raven mumble and just manage to see her as she raises her head up. She apparently rolled onto her stomach, as well.

"What happened?" she asks.

"Sorry," you say. "I woke up. This humidity and all."

"I do feel a little gross," she says as she rolls back to face you. "I'm going to wash up again."

"That's what I just finished doing," you say.

She gets up and goes to the bathroom and you settle back in. She returns a few minutes later and grabs her pillow from her bed. The two of you share your bed equally and simply hold hands until you fall asleep this time.

The next morning, you wake up, still holding Raven's hand. You check the time, and it's only past 8. You lie back down and let yourself doze off again. When you wake up again, Raven's still snoozing.

You quietly get up and go around to the room's phone. You sit on Raven's bed to dial room service.

"Yes, hello," you say. "I'd like to order breakfast. I would hope..."

You check the clock.

"10:27 isn't too late," you finish.

"No, not at all, sir," the person on the other end says. "What would you like?"

"Let's have some scrambled eggs," you say, "sausages, bacon, hashbrowns, and... pancakes."

"Right away, sir," the employee says.

"Thank you," you say.

You hang up and then go to Raven on the bed. You give her kisses on the shoulder and Raven smiles as she wakes up.

"Good morning," you say.

"Good morning," she says back.

"Breakfast is on its way," you say.

"Oh, good," she says.

She stretches and sits up, muffling a yawn with her hand.

"So..." she says, looking at you. "I know you want to go to the beach, but what's the plan for this morning?"

"Well I'm not really sure," you say.

"How about for now, we just stay in bed?"

"Ooo~, I like that idea," Raven smiles as she moves aside for you to climb into bed.

You rest back and Raven rests on you again. The humidity is not as bad in the morning, so it's once again nice to have her skin on your skin.

Raven slides up to give you kisses on the lips, and you move to full mouth. But then you both stop for an obvious reason.

"Morning breath," you both say.

"We should wait until we've had our breakfast," you say.

"Yeah," she says.

She rolls over and grabs the remote to turn the television on. It's still on the educational channel, but Raven quickly starts browsing for something else.

You give Raven more kisses on her shoulder, and she giggles.

"I suppose there are other places to kiss," she smirks.

You chuckle and grin as you move from shoulders to...

Raven giggles as she lies on her back as you kiss along her lovely skin. She moves your hair out of the way with her hand.

"Your hair tickles my neck," she says.

You continue to kiss her soft bosoms where they're exposed, your hands intertwined with Raven's. Her legs smooth up your side and you feel her toes curl against your board shorts. You smile as you take a moment to bury your face in her bosoms, which makes her laugh.

Raven lets go of your hands to wrap her arms around your head and press you in deeper. She softly laughs as you nibble and kiss all around. You wrap your arms around her waist and bring her in a bit closer. You grind just a little, but you still have a bit of morning wood so you're careful with how much pressure you apply.

"Careful now," Raven chuckles. "I can feel that."

"My apologies," you say as you come up for air. "Let me take a step back a moment."

You sit up and move back beside Raven while you catch your breath. Of course, this only makes the lingering morning wood more obvious. Raven blushes and giggles as she clearly tries not to look.

There's a knock at the door, so you move to answer it. But you consider the morning wood. At the same time, you can't send Raven to answer the door, she's still in her bikini.

"A moment," you say to the door.

You take a couple deep breaths and think of things that will do the opposite of excite you. It's mostly gross bugs and scary movies running through your head. You go to the door and open it for the bellboy. He wheels your breakfast in and you thank him with a few dollars. He nods and leaves and you wheel the cart closer to the beds. Raven sits on her bed and the two of you use the cart as your table.

Though you forgot to specify in your order to room service, they were nice enough to give you a carton of milk chilling in a bucket of ice, and a small pitcher of orange juice, along with two tall glasses. As you pile a bit of eggs, a few sausages and strips of bacon and a couple pancakes, you pour yourself some milk for the sake of washing down the syrup that you plan on pouring all over the pancakes.

You take the television remote and finish that browsing Raven started.

You go to the news in hopes of the weather reports.

"I forgot, it's Sunday morning," you say. "No local news right now. Let's try the weather channels."

You flip around and find such a channel. Their forecast for Florida seems very promising for today, with clear skies and light winds.

"Splendid," you say. "We'll have a lovely day at the beach."

"Speaking of," Raven says. "We're going to the beach after lunch, right?"

"Right."

"Then what's the plan for lunch?" Raven asks. "I know we're still eating breakfast, but we're also eating it a little later than usual."

"Ah, yes," you say. "So a later breakfast means a later lunch."

"And are we going out for lunch or will we still have room service?" Raven adds.
