Knives Chau Rating: 71/100 I used to really hate Knives as a character in the graphic novels, but in the movie, witnessing the highlights actually being punched out of someone's hair was pretty phenomenal. And the timing of the punchlines with Knives was perfection. Overall, a great example of someone who needed to be brought to screen in order to flourish. As an actual human being, he comes across as one of the more realistic Friends of the bunch, right down to the drudgery of his job being this self-contained arc that doesn't really bleed into his personal life. The movie painted him as an aquatic Killmonger of sorts, and I was much more drawn to Ocean Master in every medium.
