@Tom, I caught what you said near end of day. I told Red I think I'm not planning on using the phrase roommate powers. It's not that I don't think we can read each other. But roommate powers were 100% we can't be wrong. After last game I feel good about my reads, but I can't claim that I have the same confidence that you could never fool me that I once had. And clearly I can still slip by you somewhat too as you thought I was more fooled than I was last game. So yeah I don't plan on going ROOMMATE SAYS LYNCH TOM anytime in the near future. But that's not like I'm saying either one of us is suddenly able to sneak by.

That said you lean scum on me. I'm not scum. Let's work this out and maybe vote Red together. I think I have a good case on him. I'm also suspicious of Sultan and Lopen.

I don't have a read on SBell, I think that's on purpose for him.

Corrik is probably town and so is Puns. This is what I said I'd talk about D2. Puns Miller claim whether he really is Miller or not makes the most sense to me as town. So if it's a fake Miller claim AND Puns is scum that means he had a whole safelist to choose from. From the meta discussion it appeared everyone has characters as their roles, so Puns claim is weird. Why does he make a weird Miller claim if he has a whole safelist to choose from? The answer is WIFOM I suppose. So I can't rule out a scum Puns.

However, if he's taking a Miller claim as some other town role then he has no idea what's on the safelist nor what roles people might have. So he'd have to go obscure. This is pretty much exactly what I did when I was Sonic. I faked his brother Manic from a tv show no one has ever heard of to avoid the same exact type of scenario. There's all sorts of reasons he might fake Miller. And I don't care to know why he did if he did. Because that's scum's problem. They have to decide why he's lying.

Or if he is lying at all. Because of course he could actually be Miller. And that's probably the simplest explanation.

So three explanations I have and the one where he's scum is the most unlikely.

What about Corrik? Last game he intentionally WIFOMed about his role. He did it with half truths. Probably actually 90% truths. He didn't lie much but he sure did misdirect. I figured he was doing that with the whole fake Miller thing. Especially once he "outed" Puns as power. Doing that forces scum to make a decision on Puns.

But I'm not as sold on Corrik because there's another explanation, he could've been searching for the cop. The cop is more likely to buy the Miller claim. And Corrik openly admitted to doing something like that in Endgame mafia.

I'm less sold on Lea, but I hope she's town because I love all the mentions of SK.

Chris is untouchable right now clearly. You said you thought he might be scum with a lot of other respected people. If that were the case no way he buses Luis. He'd know he could talk his way out of any bad vote. So he's town or YES he could be third party. Sorry I just had to bring it up because it's Chris and I wanted to see if I could make you use that gif again. Also to tweak Ulti and Red.

Ulti looks so much better than yesterday and I think his arrogance is coming back out again.

I don't think I have any other strong thoughts off the top of my head. I want to go read the dowolf stuff. I missed all of that up until Chris got named king for a day. I had to skip it for time. When Luis said that he was satisfied with the day my eyes literally narrowed in real life which is why I had the follow up I did of "that's ok, please do give me reads still" and then his reads to me - Chris who he has known for over a decade in a variety of really intense projects - had all of the conviction of a noodle. I've seen Luis try to sway Chris in a topic before (Mercs) there he was very listless.

Like him being satisfied when the day was up in the air, the contentment told me that my list of people voting me was OK to him and he just... didn't care? But I had already decided I was going to kill Lea for that claim but Luis just kept coming back around again and again inside my head. It was like "Ergh he hasn't been super bad but that two post combo has so many things wrong with it." Finally about a minute before I posted I resolved myself that it was going to be Luis because I remember that I tend to soft defend scum a bit day one. Like I'll let things go that I shouldn't and so that was enough things on the scale to murder Luis. Also Luis is sneaky and if he was scum I knew it'd be a very good coup for town.

So yeah pretty last minute and a lot of data crunching of various metas.

As an aside if you say something that lines up with this I am probably going to vote for you, because you have told me in the past that town Chris thinks this way (in defense of my town game as scum) and that I am scared of making big decisions and I worry over them and am not as confident as I sound. Very true statements mind you, and present in this case, but for you to try to use them as a way to go "See, I can read Chris and I am defending him look at my use he is town here guys" comes off as scum manipulation and why I asked for this in this fashion. Basically town red knows he already said this in my presence and wouldn't use it in this fashion to "confirm me." Also you've been telling people to ask me a lot in this game to verify you, which also comes off manipulative but I guess we'll see.

Scum chris gives a longer wind ego answer where he suspected luis for a longer period of time. Scum chris tunnels and would have a longer list of luis things.

Town chris gives the honest, shorter term answer, he wouldn't have seriously considered luis til he gave the no meddling suck up post. Not sure how deep chris looked into it but town with an unconfirmed chris would absolutely want to meddle. It was a really strange I'm keeping my hands clean from luis that town chris would recognize. Town chris is spontaneous, it is the biggest difference.

Honestly I don't really know what town red looks like because I find his town games unmemorable, but the idea that he's out to put himself over as knowledgeable first and foremost over actual useful scumhunting lines up with how I read his scum game in WWE mafia.

This doesn't mean all that much because I only followed the last few days of that game, though.

To elaborate, I don't think pez "SK hunting" is sufficient on it's own for me to think he's scum. People can have skewed perspectives. What irked me was his justification for thinking so. red just highlighted it but I think his reasoning is backwards. In a 17 player game I assume 5 scum unless given reason to believe otherwise. A SK doesn't (or shouldn't) fit in 17 because 5+1 SK means town has under two thirds numbers, and 4+1 means the mafia is under 25%. Assuming then, 5 scum, when increasing that to 21 players, without throwing off the balance, the natural course of action would be adding 3 town and 1 scum. I just don't see how you look at that, biased perspective or not, and immediately suspect the addition of an SK unless you know more than you're letting on. No-one is that one-track.
