I'm going for a Warren/Castro ticket realistically but I also really want Kamala Harris as prez post-debate. Not sure who her VP would be yet.

Actually switched my vote from the pre-debate version: Biden -> Warren.

Harris's takedown of him was exactly the kind of thing I suspect we'll see more of over time and why I said despite voting Biden for predix I'd take the field were it an option. Both Harris and Warren's stock definitely rose in this predix game IMO.

but who knows maybe polls will come out and show biden's support unchanged like they did on the first go-around of that topic.

Still think Biden is more likely than any other single person.

Harris fell down my list a bit tonight but I assume shell gain in the polls a bit. Not sure itll necessarily be primarily at Bidens expense, though.

Bernie will win on consistency and record. Kamala sounded nice until you look at her record and realize she's just an establishment cop pandering for progressive votes. Warren is very smart and almost progressive enough, but her willingness to take corporate money in the general is a red flag, and her plans don't address the root of many problems. Biden can see his way out at any moment, his time is well done and he keeps looking backward. The rest of the lot aren't serious contenders, though I do like Tulsi and much of what I hear from Yang.

At the end of the day, the issues Bernie made popular in 2016 are what 90% of the candidates are trying to capitalize on now, but Bernie is still in the race and the only one who can be counted on to seriously work toward that agenda.

So. Democracy Corps data shows Bidens favorability with African American voters went up a net 18% after last nights debate, while Mayor Petes went down 10%. Stan Greenberg chalked a lot of it up to defensiveness over the perception that the Obama-Biden legacy was under attack

As I predicted, Kamala's hysterical race-baiting backfired amongst the black community, as they are generally more pragmatic and realize that Biden has built his career advancing civil rights.

Harris is currently leading the prediction markets, but its probably a tossup between her, biden, and warren at this point.

I disagree

Idk man, trump is a clown and I can't think of a single world leader that fears him or takes him seriously. Hillary was effective as secretary of state

Additionally, given how close Hillary was to winning the electoral college (and by how much she won the popular vote) I wouldn't count someone out due to their gender

a lot of people unfortunately don't pay attention to that stuff and his base is still pretty supportive of him

he's not going to get steamrolled so easily, if the democrats don't get a strong candidate that gives moderates a reason to go out and vote then trump could win again

Seems like Bernie made the right call not attacking Biden and just going off on his message, then!

I agree that there's 0 percent chance a woman beats trump for president. And Trump is much much stronger now than he was prior to being elected since we have economy gains and he's done a good job not starting any meaningless wars. Basically all the people who predicted doom and gloom from trump look like idiots now (from a trump voter's perspective)

I also think if any candidate says the words "I'm sorry" they're out of the running for potential to beat trump. So Biden is out.

I hope you turn out right, but let's not jump the gun on that one.

Bernie can beat Trump, and so can Tulsi (she'll cut hard into his base with her anti-war statements). But neither is getting the nomination. DNC is firmly into the establishment's hands.
