I remember hearing that bird fussing and hollaring in the other room while it was going on and to this day it still bothers me just knowing that bird is gone cause he didn't know what was going on or going to happen to him cause I took away that birds chance to say goodbye to me. We gave him so many treats during his last few hours and he seemed so happy. MICHALECOLE 07/02/19 5:10:37 PM #38:	When bubbles the cat passed away (2 years ago on the 25th.. time flies) it was a rough, rough week leading up to it. He was my brother and the thing I cared about the most. Calling to make the appointment to put him down was so awful. He died in my arms on the way to the vet. I cried more that week than I ever have in my entire life. After getting to the vet and just sobbing in the room with just me and him, I felt alright after. I didnt cry again. I missed him every day, but I know he lived a great life and I still talk about him constantly. He is still the background on my phone (and the lock screen too, actually.) his ashes are on my desk at work, so he works with me every day. The biggest thing for me though is that I still dream of him all the time. He is still there with me constantly. I have gotten two new cats and a dog since, and I love them so much, but nothing will ever compare to the bond that bubbles and I shared. you Jen. I know this is how your bond with Ernie is as well.
