Theyre not gonna change just because one employee feels bad, their customer is always first and foremost their shareholders so theyre still gonna try to find any way they can to squeeze gamers for every penny they can muster

No, you don't understand. They have to milk every possible cent out of their games by any means necessary! They have to buy out studios that people like, then gut them of any sense of artistic identity for homogeneity's sake and throw them aside when the reputation they bought them for runs out and they stop being profitable! They have to celebrate making record profits in a given period by laying off hundreds of employees who they just finished working into the ground with ridiculous amounts of overtime under the threat of being replaced if they didn't meet arbitrary goals set by people who understand nothing about developing video games! That's just how the video game industry works!
