It's not much mind you, but the shift to Netflix is noticeable enough compared to fox. And with the fewer episodes, it was extremely quick and not unbelievably stretched out like season 3.

Hell if this were still on Fox they would have stretched out Chloe working with priest McKinley in secret for like the entire season, but with Netflix they revealed it by like the 3rd episode.

One laughable side plot was Dan and Ella hooking up, and Ella "losing her faith" but then regaining it by the end, like anyone was paying attention to that with all the demon stuff going on.

thats what happens when you cut down to a manageable 10 eps

all shows should follow this bbc model. 24 ep seasons are just stupid

the problem with shows like lucifer is that the longer a main character is kept in the dark the more important plot lines they have to be kept out of
that was a problem with keeping chloe in the dark for so long and it was nice to see her finally be in the know

Season 4 was a masterpiece compared to season 3.

Holy fuck they finally found a way to integrate the overarching storyline into the procedural cop bullshit instead of trying to do two parallel stories every episode. And Amenadiel actually had a reason to be in the show. And Maze stopped being a whiny little bitch. And Lucifer actually became a badass again instead of some impotent whiner. And they didn't have to pad out the season with 15 meaningless filler episodes.

The one downgrade was Chloe ruining her face between seasons. She looks like a clown with her huge fake lips and now expressionless face.

Chloe... doesn't look any different from previous seasons?

She looks about the same. In season 1 she seemed to put more makeup on but that's it.

Her make up made her look like some kind of drug addict.

Maybe they were gonna make that a plot point after she discovered Lucifer was the devil.

Agreed that it was faster paced with less filler due to fewer episodes.

One thing they just glossed over is Eve getting back to earth from heaven. I thought the big reveal was gonna be that she got kicked out or something, but nope she just "found a way" I guess.

I don't dislike the character though, she has a certain appeal.
