I mean I don't see how a fake role reveal on death would be that disruptive as long as it doesn't change alignment. It would obscure whatever the actual role was, which would be the point, but as long as it wasn't like the godfather flipping as something that isn't godfather who cares.

I respect a lot of people's ability at the game actually. You're notably the big one that is widely respected I don't respect and it eats away at you.

I think you're only thought to be good cause Chris is good and you're his friend and he's convincing. Have never seen a single game out of you where I thought you played notably well. Possible they exist and I haven't seen them, because I don't actually follow a lot of the games.

Like on that note that obvious spiel I seriously did that only two times IIRC I don't know why you and scare are so on that. You guys have had a lot of games I have not commented on cause I don't lurk most of them, and a few where I have said nothing about how obvious it was or wasnt whatsoever.

I think deflecting is warranted because my play specifically is the only one being attacked and town failing so spectacularly was definitely a major team effort there.

I just think having a good first two days is worth something that most of the town can't say they had.

Did not claim I played well after that point beyond having the moral victory of being the only town to vote Ulti at the end which does matter cause I could have done much worse. I nearly martyr suicided into Puns for crissakes. Not to say that would have even worked but if it did I would have felt terrible.

Town in general had a very awful day 1. It got lost in the shuffle but running into fucking kingmaker is demoralizing as fuck(I cannot stress enough how much town win% goes up if theres a kingmaker and they just rng dice roll their power immediately day 1). That Dowolf lynch is pretty free with just about any other role.

b8 towns are suckers for going after inactives that show up and make token low effort posts. The fact that they are scum at a slightly higher rate than full inactives here helps(I think our full inactives have been like 85-90% town the last year).

He could have been taken down with any power except for things like Kingmaker or Mayor, but Mayor is significantly less strong.

Also that Kingmaker reveal happened right when I was about to start work. I was absolutely fucking livid. If I didn't have a strong sense of self control I would not have been able to resist the urge to throw my phone. I knew exactly how damaging that role was likely to be to our team when at the time we looked absolutely golden(I was feeling especially good because I felt like me/pez/ulti had a very hard chain to follow, which turned out to be a correct assumption in the end).

On that note, I'm going to reiterate that scum hunts fucking SK's, not town. I don't think I've rammed that down peoples head enough in the post post game.

I will say giving me Kingmaker is probably the most +EV thing you can do near end of day because I go into my number crunching mode which is probably the scariest town version of myself.

Also yeah Pez did pretty well tbf, fooled me through two days for sure.

I saw our setup and was like "Fuck yeah SK game" but Han let me down.

Pez's only real "tell" to me was he was way too focused on Tom being town and proving that. Ironically once I actually became convinced Tom was town it got to a point where it seemed like he was maybe doing it just to give the illusion of contributing something.

But it wasn't enough for me to actually argue voting him (to be fair didn't become convinced on Tom till late day 3 so there wasn't a huge window). I think in a scanless game though he's on my radar before town is dead. Death probably not. Probably someone else suspects him way before I do.

basically, unlike things like say Death Miller, SK is a role that has an equal chance to fuck over both town and scum. So it is RNG but at the very least it is a true neutral party.

Whereas Survivor is just boring.

I do believe I've mentioned my Survivor play before. I literally claim it opening post and idle for the rest of the game. It is my best shot to not be shot by scum and since I will remain true neutral to the end town should know that lynching me is only beneficial to scum.

Me too but it's been really fun so far tbh. They have Wintergrasp as an Epic BG. Wintergrasp, Red. I felt so much of the memories coming back. It was actually a bit overwhelming.

To be fair, you are only being attacked because you touted your play. Just like Cam was when he did the same with his.

You both are identically arguing yinz played so well day 1 and 2.

I was convinced you would figure out Ulti in the final 4. And you did for the most part. So I had faith on you when you were forced to look at the reality around you. You just weren't playing in reality from like day 3 thru 8 or whatever. Your theories were mind blowing! Lol.

Basically, I know you aren't looking for advice, but if you want some, all I can say sometimes the easiest solution is most likely the correct one.

Oh and 4 things also.

1. You, when you still thought there was 2 scum left on the penultimate day, said it would make sense to Lynch you. This means at what you thought could be Mylo you actually said it made sense to Lynch urself and lose the game.

2. You argued a SK possibility theory on the final day I believe.

3. On the final and next to last, you argued that Tom successfully drew the kill as if it was fact and said the game would be solved by figuring out who he drew it from. When it was much likelier he was just killed outright.

On the next to last day. You had all the scans listed in categories. You had the flavor scans in one and the cop scans in another. And you said that there had to be 1 flavor scan godfather and 1 cop scan godfather (let's ignore this doesn't really make sense).

You said someone from both categories had to be scum. Unless a true godfather which you asserted had to be the both guy (which again doesn't make sense but we will ignore for now).

Then you laid out this theory that one had to be scum in the flavor group and one in the cop group and you proceeded to say a particular person in the flavor group should be your Lynch today because they were most likely.

But, under your theory that 1 was scum in the cop group and 1 in the flavor group, that means Sbell HAS to be scum to you because you know you are town and Sbell is the only other one in the cop group. Which makes your reasoning and line of thought broken.

Do you understand how scummy this would look to someone else? You lost all your cred to be followed this game from broken theories like that, which is what I tried to explain to Cam about his play.

That is why I knew that you would figure out Ulti but no one would listen to you and mislynch you anyways. You played a game full of this above behavior, especially in the final 2 days when it was still fresh to town. You never had a chance the final day, even if you knew 100% Ulti was scum.

Also speaking Wow. Remember when a certain someone in this thread asked me to join his server and his guild, and I said I won't pay for a transfer and faction change, but I would start a new character and level it up to max to play with them. Then their guild wouldn't help me at all when I asked for a run or two while leveling. I got to 80 in like 10 days and their guild wouldn't run anything with me, wouldn't let me raid, and the person who asked me to join their guild and server stopped logging on all together also.

I'm not saying I didn't make mistakes but you're not really pointing one out. You just didn't really read that day very well. It's fine. I think that day I attempted suicide into puns was one of the better days I had and could have won the game if I picked the right guy-- the idea that town was being strung along by an "obvtown" was correct and me figuring out there could only be one scum was correct and allowed that attempt at a play. But yeah ultimately the problem there was I stuck with the Sheep lynch cause I was too laser focused on Tom having solved the game and puns quoted a post what made me feel Tom may have targeted Sheep.

Saying I was left alive intentionally is kinda just being cute though-- not sure any configuration wins that game because Ulti had basically pocketed Puns and Puns had basically pocketed SBell,and all 3 were being left alive. Like look at the final days of lynches Lea Cam Sheep, does anyone there not get lynched just as or perhaps even easier than I do the final day? I doubt it. You can say there's a reason I was left alive by scum, but there was a reason I was left alive by town too and it was because of the ample amounts of 'scummy' players.

We basically needed to lynch someone who wasn't me or Sheep on the second to last day. I couldn't save the game, no, but the fact that I am basically being argued as the only one who could and failed says it all.

Talking about prior to your correction. There was no way you could have had anyone as more certain scum than Sbell with that theory and with the lists you had arrayed. It made sbell 100% scum under your theory. Yet you said someone else was the most likely scum.

Not really. It only made SBell 100% scum if I thought there were 2 scum remaining-- 2 godfathers one of each type or just one super godfather were both possible.

I thought most of the scumteam combinations didn't make sense with SBell so I said it was more likely to be 1 scum. I did acknowledge it was a slight gamble, but it was a slight gamble for like 10 posts so yeah.
