He's 40 years old and has lost four of his last ten fights after a very long career. He needs to retire for the sake of his later life after all that head trauma.

$80 fucking bucks.....PPV killed boxing, IMO. HBO, Showtime, sure ok, fine, I can live with that. It would be better if ESPN or some other cable network carried it though. I remember watching championship fights on ABC's Wide World of Sports - regular, free TV

Yeah I like Pacman, but he's got a lot of mileage going in against Thurman (who I also like). I don't really care who wins, I'd just like a good fight but not if Pacquiao ends up doing serious damage to himself in one night.

I think he should retire after this anyway. I don't want to see him end up like Ali or Tommy Hearns - slurred speech, jerky motions. It's sad.

There was UFC but jesus christ you are lucky you missed it. They set the record for the most fights gone to decision to begin a card in history (with NINE fights in a row going to decision). Some of them were good, but jesus christ, you definitely need a 1st or 2nd round finish sometimes to have that extra time between fights to just get up and dick around. Leon Edwards destroyed Rafael "Two Anus" Dos Anjos though, and I'm angry that Greg Hardy got another knockout.

Not having seen the fight, I'll say I'm surprised he won. His legacy as an all-time great is cemented (not that it was in doubt). I just hope he gets out before he ends up like Tommy Hearns - or even worse - Ali.

by the way, I saw the fight and it was very close, but I think Pac-Man edged him out, especially with the 1st round knockdown. The judge that gave 114-113 to Thurman was being really really generous imo. I'm not the biggest boxing guy (mostly into MMA), so my scoring could be off though
