I mean........why would you name your food product Soylent? Seriously, I can't imagine people are running out to buy this stuff even if it's super healthy and flavorful.

I heard of Soylent bars in other countries, but at least it was another country where people had not often seen the movie.

But here in the US, as an american product?

What were they thinking?

It was intentional because it catches everyones eye and they remember it

and despite being associated with the film in pop culture, the name soylent in the book actually derived from the food being made from soy and lentils

I enjoy food to much to ever switch to something like that but I can see the appeal of having something simple to eat/drink and just not have to worry about what youre gonna eat or preparing food each day

i know Soylent is often meme'd about, but I didn't find it too bad. A friend of mine bought a bunch, and hated it, and gave me some. I only tried the Cacoa and Original, but neither were terrible.

It's thick and filling, and could work as a meal substitute if you were dieting. I'd rather eat food.

Seriously though liquid meals ick me out. I don't do yogurt, closest I come to something like this is oatmeal (And I don't eat that often either). So nope....not for me.
