-2015: I meet this girl working at McDs. We were both teenagers so whatever. We slowly start to click. She lived with her boyfriends family while her family lived in Texas. She always complained about her boyfriend and said stuff like she would date me if he wasnt there. Drama and shit happens. She has to leave because boyfriends family kicks her out. She goes back to Texas. Weve cuddled in bed is about the extent of our physical relationship. I was beta. Woe is me.

-2016: We keep in touch through text/calls late 15 to early 2016, and agreed to be together officially. She explains she cant wait to move back so that we can move in together. I mail fucking surprise Valentines Day gifts to here with my minimum wage pay. A bear, jewelry, and a card. This whole time shes still using pet names and hearts and shit. Saying stuff like Im all that matters (and her brothers) and telling me her life story and how terrible her family life is. Eventually she goes completely MIA for a few months. Radio silence. She comes back randomly with news that shes pregnant. I tried to be calm to gather info, but my best friend at the time went off on my behalf. My gf thinks she shouldnt move back anymore because of her safety. She says the dad was a poor decision because of drinking/smoking, and that he wants nothing to do with the baby. I try to make the shit work because Im an idiot. It doesnt because she acted shady, so we stopped talking for another few months.

Random baby picture in December. Im indifferent until she says the name of the baby. Very early on, Ive expressed to her that if I have a daughter, Id name her Mia. The name means a lot to me. This lady legit names her Mia but spelled differently. And this stupid shit works because I began to care again. She said shit like we could just say it was mine. I didnt tell my best friend this time because she was starting to become crazy. My gf moves to Colorado because her family is starting to shun her or something.

-2017: This stupid shit persists until she goes MIA again. I tried to financially plan stuff, but she didnt care to plan ahead. I, admittedly, got over bearing since her situation seemed really dire, and things were dropped when we disagreed. She stops responding again.

-2018: Dunno what caused us to talk again. Probably cause I had moved in with the best friend and she turned out to be a lunatic. But this time its more casual. She says shell be in town and we should get drinks or something for her birthday. I actually meet the little shit beforehand at McDs (because shes poor), and meet her baby. When we make plans to go out a casino, she disappears again. At this point, I say fuck it.

-2019: I get with a new girl, but she breaks things off 6 months in because shes not ready or some shit. Im admittedly a bit pissed off. I make friends easily and try very hard to be a supportive boyfriend. I only attract women with damaged pasts I guess tho. I fall a little bit into a slump and try to find my previous gf on Facebook. Her profile I originally messaged seemed deleted or something. So I went through her sisters profile to discover she has a SECOND profile. On this one, I discover that in April of 2017, shes taken a family picture. The dad (who she purposely downplayed as a mistake in Texas), is her original fucking boyfriend she complained to me about in 2016. And he doesnt live in Texas. Dude lives 20 minutes from me. Did she even go to Texas? Jfc. The baby was born November of 2016 for reference.

So now Im here doing math and checking timestamps of past messages to figure out if shes been fucking this dude while flirting with me and stealing my sentimental name for her bastard.
