Ange - The only character to be a major part in every Solid game. Not only does he have a lot of mystery and contributions to the main plot... he makes revolves look so flippin cool. Even when he's making cheesy meowing.

Tangy - Jecht is one of those really cool characters that has very little screen time, but with the little bit of screen time he does have he makes the most of it. You can tell that Jecht isnt a bad guy who just wasnt ready to be a dad. He clearly loves his son, he just doesnt know how to show it. It leads to him being a really realistic character which is pretty impressive for a Final Fantasy game. Oh yeah and it helps that hes got a badass design as well.

Ange - He may seem like your typical idiot protagonist but Lloyd in some ways goes beyond that. With memorable lines about dwarven vows, coffee temperature, and his reasoning for using 2 swords it's clear why he's remembered over many others. His fighting style may be simple but it's very fun to chain combos with his dual wielding artes.

Welcome to the Literature Club! It's always been a dream of mine to, um...

Ahaha, I guess that's pretty outdated at this point, huh?

Well, I'm the president of my school's Literature Club, and I'm always happy to support my club members and help them find the type of literature that suits them best. Aside from my work in the club I also enjoy playing the piano, and I practiced really hard so I could write a song for you. I hope you liked it.

Finding out that I live in a video game put a bit of a damper on all that, though, and I started manipulating my friends to get them out of the way so I could spend time with you. And when that didn't work, I sort of... Well, I guess there's no sense trying to sugarcoat it. I killed them. I removed them all from the game so we were the only two people left.

...I'm honestly really sorry about what I did, and even though it hurt more than anything else when I was deleted I understand why you did it.

But I still love you even after everything that's happened, and I hope that even if you don't feel the same way, you've still found it in your heart to forgive me at least a little.

Gosh, that got a little more serious than I wanted it to. I should probably go now before I start saying anything weird. But if you want to see me again, you know where to find me!

Tangy - So most characters in Pokemon dont have much going for them. A lot have cool designs with the occasional character getting some cool lines or personality. Which makes sense because the focus goes on the Pokemon rather than the humans. However Blue is one of the rare exceptions. Hes starts off a spoiled brat thats clearly been handed everything his entire life, the game really sets him up to be really unlikable and very easy to root against. What makes this especially cool his fights are actually kind of difficult, especially the early ones. As you start getting stronger and are about to beat the game he appears as a final boss you have to beat to win, due to how much you ccare for your mons and how little he cares for his. Its after this battle he learns caring for Pokemon is just as important as winning battle and goes on to become a strong gym leader and mature adult. Its a really cool character evolution and one that still hasnt been topped to this day.

Snake - Silent Hill 2 is the story of a man completely snapped in two. Repressing his past trauma, James arrives in Silent Hill with a mission and a letter: to meet his wife at a hotel they stayed at on vacation years ago. There's only one problem: his wife is dead. This starts a psychological rabbit hole, with a colorful cast of characters James meets along the way which illustrate his perceived personality. With Angela, there's a bit of awkwardness between them showing James' introverted personality. With Eddie, James has a genuine sense of concern over his sociopathic nature and troubling thoughts of murder. With Maria, the splitting image of his wife, we see how James handles love and relationships; occasionally aloof but still showing his care when he can. Additionally, Maria is killed in front of him multiple times, with James breaking down carefully hinting at his immense guilt towards his past. All these interactions serve a point: despite the horrible thing James has done, deep down he isn't inherently an evil or bad man. His wife's sickness drove him to become something he's not, and that's the real tragedy of Silent Hill 2. Yet, if he ever even makes it out of Silent Hill, this is something he'll have to live with forever.

Ange - The character you mostly control between the iconic duo. He may have just been yet another protagonist to a Mario 64 inspired game but the amount of moves he can learn from Bottles and Jamjars really increases the variety of his playstyle and makes him stick out. With his moves and notable nice but gullible personality, he's become iconic enough to finally make it on the Super Smash Bros. roster.

Tangy - Oh My God! Banjos finally in Smash! Im so happy Ive been wanting this to happen for so long. Now we just need a new Banjo game and I can die happy.
