Tom Bombadil 09/05/19 7:16:20 PM #1:	There's like a vibe that I like in ~~waifus~~ characters but I can't quite figure out how to put it in words. It's like, an innocent haughtiness. An over-inflated ego but also kindness for others. Naive but earnest. Stubborn in both good and bad ways. Childish but warm. Pompous but friendly. More straightforward than a tsundere, nicer than an ojousama, cockier than a genki. Best examples I can give are Nero (Fate) and ~~sometimes Beato~~ (Umineko), but I think Cirno (Touhou) and Rozalin (Disgaea 2) are in the ballpark. I feel like I'm forgetting an adjective that would sum all that up, or at least there's a character archetype on tvtropes or something, but I haven't found anything yet. Idiot Hero on TVTropes comes kinda close but I don't think it's what you're looking for - lacks the ego aspect, though it could co-exist with it. I'm assuming Gon (HxH) also falls into the category you're thinking of. Think Innocently Insensitive is the closest TVTropes will get you but I can't be sure because that place is huge.
