Incels are only cool if they're good looking. When Ryan is an incel, it's seen as cool and deep, but if an unattractive guy is an incel, he's seen as a threat to society and must be treated like a monster.

Yes. On the face of it Gosling a handsome, famous, and successful movie star may seem an odd avatar to represent the face of a movement preoccupied with misogyny and embodied by personal failure. Yet many of Goslings film roles are a catalog of characters who exhibit all of the trademark characteristics of the socially isolated, alienated and emotionally stunted young men who comprise incel culture.

Insulted the girl he had been trying to make eyes with behind her back then tried to pretend to goofily kick a homeless guy in the butt (and misjudged and did) and denied it despite multiple people calling him out, thus blowing his chances with a different girl who was actually going to try to swoop in because of his looks despite his ragging on the other girl like a bitter loser.

I was in a party town and saw him again at a different bar coincidentally the next night, where he brought up feminism negatively without provocation relation to anything else; used the term "alpha" to approvingly praise a man doing karaoke; called two guys who did karaoke together as buddies (not a romantic song, straight dudes) "beta males" even though those totally good-natured guys were sitting with seven or more women they had all met that night; told a girl that he "had more thoughts than her;" and then sent drunken u up?s at 4:00 where he confessed and pleaded too many things.

If an actual incel played these roles, nobody would want to see the movie. Look at the trailer for that movie "Cuck." They got a real life incel to play one, and nobody wants to see it.
