Darmik 10/14/19 10:32:58 PM #1:	After the epic battle scene in Avengers: Endgame depicted the female superheroes uniting to protect Spider-Man from Thanos, Marvel fans started wondering if theyll ever see the women unite for a standalone movie. Captain Marvel star Brie Larson generated even more buzz when she told Variety that she and other female co-stars have approached Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about getting the ball rolling. Now, during a sit-down interview with Variety, Scarlett Johansson says she is also pushing for the movie, despite her character Black Widows demise in Endgame. I dont know what my future is in that world. Obviously, its a little more opaque for my character, Johansson told Varietys Marc Malkin while promoting her new film Jojo Rabbit. But that group of actresses is so incredibly powerful and when they come together, its explosive and unstoppable. So yes, Im pushing for that. I think audiences want it and Im definitely one of them. Feige has expressed interest in an all-female film, but has yet to confirm a green light on the project. Things have changed for the better since Aquaman, Shazam and Joker. Suicide Squad 2 is by James Gunn, and we got Matt Reeves' Batman coming. Along with WW 1984. I'll be the first to admit that I lost faith in DC after BvS and Justice League and thought it was gonna be downhill from there, despite still enjoying those movies on some level. Also we have to factor in that AT&T, who is the new owner of DC, is not gonna lay down and let DC go to hell like Time Warner was willing to. Since their acquisition, things have gotten better, not worse. I have faith in Birds of Prey despite seeming kind of cringy af lol. Robbie was probably one of the few good things about SS and the DCEU as a whole. --- It all just disappears, doesn't it?
