As an example:

If an AI were to screen country/pop music for racial slurs and rap music for racial slurs... it's very likely to detect more in the rap music.

This doesn't mean rap is more racist, just that the AI isn't working properly.

Not what I meant at all. Given your scenario I would say the AI is spot on in identifying racism. By context I meant conversations that take place within the group. Where they can use words to describe themselves that someone from outside the group is not allowed to use.

the issue is that you are a prime target for radicalization. youre a white male, and you live in an area where the general political rhetoric is that of seeming like the population has been left behind by the rest of the country (especially in the wake of the recent election). you also, crucially, are disabled, and presumably dont leave your house or talk to people in person extremely often. i do not say this to make light of your disability or say you are less able to think critically because of it, but when gamefaqs and youtubers like this are your primary form of socialization and informing yourself, these things are going to happen.

the algorithms are designed to ease you into radicalization and this has been shown time and time again. thats why its pointless to point to any one video and explain whats wrong with it, and its why i dont watch any video you post to find out - because any one video is just one part of the larger picture. its also why when you say you watch some left-wing people it doesnt mean a lot to me because the algorithm is far more insidious than that. it will not just start showing you alt-right stuff. there are levels, and its designed to ease you into those gradually. (i mean, you cant convince me sargon is anything but a surface-level right-wing figure but thats another discussion)

this isnt conspiratorial and youre far from the only one to fall into this hole. i have no idea how you could begin to address this, but a good start would be to not get your news items from secondary sources like youtube.

Where I live people from india are the most racist. Next is white people then first nations people.

Wasn't there that other AI that was supposed to learn from the internet, so as a joke the internet taught it racism and sexism, which without bias, the AI does not discriminate on what it learns.

So to "fix" the problem they programmed the AI to repeat politically correct phrases on response to certain words, but that defeated the whole purpose of the project if they were just going to directly program the AI to repeat certain lines.

I am at no risk of radicalization. Mainly, I'm pretty old - almost middle-aged; radicalization is for the youth. The most radical thing I've done this year is vote NDP.

As for Youtube, I've been a long-time Sargon fan, he wasn't just suggested by the algorithm. I started with This Week in Stupid and loved it... I tend to dislike most righties like NoBull, undoomed, that one guy... tim pool? But I do like some like TJ Kirk and Suris. The most right-wing person I'm subscribed to is Blaire White (self-identified Conservative)

I suppose the only way to fix this would be to find a far lefty who talks about the same specific issues... but the main lefty channels are complaining about how white supremacy is taking over and trump trump trump trump trump.
