I can't take all the high pitch squeals. Cause they gotta always have the ear piercing chick with a 10 year olds personality and 35 year olds wisdom. Dunno why the 10 year old playfulness. Seems like 95% of the time if they dropped that trait, they'd have a much better character on their hands

A lot of modern dubs are just lacking quality. They don't match the mouths, don't match the tone, and often just yell their lines (or balance to sound like it).

The gap between English dubs and Japanese original voices used to be decently wide a long time ago, but it's gotten significantly better to the point where there's not much difference for most shows.
