When you beat G-max Drednaw even with AI Wishiwashi and Magikarp you feel like a real Champ

The flavor text on the website said the Galarian Zigzagoons aren't supposed to zigzag either, but they still reused the regular Zigzagoon battle animations for it, zigzags and all.

Galarian Zigzagoon's Pokedex entry does mention it moves in zigzags. The website does seem to suggest they aren't limited to zigzags, though.

Do 4-5* Raids appear as red beams too? I feel like 5* should deserve some special indication

It really bugs me that the keyboard where you nickname Pokemon defaults to lowercase for some reason. As if I don't want to capitalize the first letter of the name.

I benched Eldegoss because I wasnt impressed with it after 4 gyms. Got Hatenna in my team now which I need to level up some

So I just started Pokemon shield.

Less than 10 encounters into the game and I encountered a Shiny Skwovet! I don't even have a Pokedex yet, lol. Good thing i redeemed my mystery gift code for those quick balls.

Pokedex up to 136 right after leaving Hammerlocke

So my Level 48 Coalossal was fighting a Wild Den Dynamax Corviknight. I went Dynamax and was able to do Max Flares to get it a decent amount of health down.

However, once I lost my Dynamax form, any attacks I attempted to use had a message that said something along the lines of "Coalossal decided it didn't want/need to attack" and nothing happened.

I was really mad since I could have taken down the Corviknight but Coalossal ruined it by not attacking those few times and I was so confused.

Then I got worried and tried a few regular and Dynamax battles but I was able to attack fine with him and other Pokemon I tried.

Do you know why this happened? Only thing I can think of is maybe his Pokemon Camp affection isnt super high (I played with it literally once or twice and just cooked Curry otherwise). Or maybe my level was too low?

It's not my badge count since I just got all 8 badges. I have never had this happened to me before in a Pokemon game with all 8 badges...

There's certain attacks that won't work on Dynamax pokemon due to how they function

The one attack I think is like a slam attack that does more damage if you are bigger than them. Coalossal doesn't even want to attempt that attack because he's puny compared to the Dynamax poke.

Yeah, weight-based moves and moves with secondary effects that remove the opponent's berry will auto-fail. Low Kick, Grass Knot, Heavy Slam, Heat Crash, Pluck, Incinerate, Bug Bite. Probably some others.

I have an Eldegoss on my team right now and it was useful for Nessa's gym at least. I don't think it will be a permanent member of my team, as I do want to get Appletun eventually.

So far, I've only got 2 badges as I have been progressing slowly through the game trying to farm items from 1-2 star raids. I managed to catch my Hatenna earlier (managed to snag a Modest one after several tries).

Looking for water pokemon recommendations. Right now I'm rocking Gyarados and that just feels wrong.

Disappointed you dont get the latex with the fighting gym outfit. It looks cool, but NOPE I guess. Water lets you keep the top that barely covers anything though

Also anyone else having connection issues today? Everything was fine before and now its just a ton everywhere for me while everything else online works perfectly

The only 3-stage Water types available are Sobble, Lotad, and Tympole.

Also I've been enjoying both Barraskewda and Dracovish.
