I'm figuring to be a pretty active trader, but I want to wait to the end of the round to get into the nitty-gritty of it in case scarlet wants to make a dedicated topic for it or something - I know he said at one point it'd mostly be a weekend thing.

(1) Deadline for pitch changes for next round?

(2) No issue with completely different pitches, or is the "core" concept required to stay intact with only tweaks allowed?

(3) Clarification on rule 6 for trades, which was originally posted as such:

It seems like most people like your basic premise, but either they don't think X-23 can carry the title all on her own or they like the X-23 lead aspect but think it's hamstrung by having two other big names in Jean and Colossus that demand too much attention despite having little to do with the concept overall.

This would give you another star who has ties to Weapon X but would conceivably bring a different perspective on it, not to mention a more intriguing team dynamic. There'd be a few directions you could take the pitch now that would put Jean and Piotr in a position that doesn't make them feel like they're getting in the way. Meanwhile, Laura's still the star, but she doesn't have to be relied upon as the one driving force behind the book. Plus, all things considered, it'd be a net positive for you in terms of fight strength.

On my end, I just don't need Sabretooth. Right now, regardless of how I rework my pitch, I'm having to do some gymnastics to get him to logically fit, and he's not really bringing anything special to it or to the fight lineup. You could work him in a lot easier on both counts.

On mine, Snake and Prof specifically didn't pick in fight because of seeing a bit of evenly matched. Prof specifically didn't vote because of bias towards my team in that evenly matched side of things.

Some people did not vote in both, and some people did not vote in every match.

Actually, maybe I can make it work, it's just more freaking work in formatting these, which I would prefer not to do. So if people desperately want full rosters listed, fine, but if it's just one person, no.

It wasn't Snake but it was... Oh duh. Scarlet only voted Pitch side as he said he'd do. Pretty much the case with every round.

In any case, I probably could have done better in the fight if I challenged it. But basically no one on Gold side fought Mercs-style on it so I just sat around like... "Yeah, not worth the effort to spawn an argument." Destroying pitch on my weak first draft was good enough. I shall work on second draft tonight.

...You aren't TECHNICALLY wrong but I didn't not consider Chamber's powers as part of the pitch. I generally try not to see them for their destructive capabilities. Entirely too reductionist and I hate treating characters as just their powers and combat techniques. Part of the reason I despise one-note strong characters in media in general.

...And I didn't consider specific powers for combat purposes, other than they might be interesting to see used. I have Cypher and Butterfly on my team, for crying out loud. Even *with* Cypher's language translation abilities apparently applying to body language now as well, unless that's changed recently.
