When I had to drive downtown for work and back during rush hours:

-30 minutes if I left at 5:30 am (started at 7). Leave at 6 and it'd be a crap shoot whether I'd make it on time or not.

-1 - 1.5 hours depending on traffic coming home. And I left downtown before traffic really got going.

I have a 40 minute to 1 hour commute atm. Going to move soon I think to get a shorter commute.

I take the bus & a couple of trains, and the longest was probably ~2 hours to work (express) & ~3 hours back (normal route)

Back in Hawaii I had to take "Da Bus" from the Honolulu Airport to Pearl City after work each say and sometimes it wout take an hour for like 10 miles.

~1-1.5 hours to and from without carpool, ~50-70 minutes with. Only 35 miles

My old coworker lived between Waipahu and Ewa beach and man he spent half his day commuting it seemed lol.
