No other princess was about that life. She fucking tried to bury that man in an avalanche.

When that failed.

She showed him the basics of CQC before scattering his body across China with fireworks.

Tiana is a close second. To bad she was a frog and couldnt do much.

These other princesses are soft and only taught women that infatuation with hot guys is enough to declare true love.

The problem with Mulan is that she wasn't the one who had a reason to kill the villain. Ping lost his father. But never mind that shit, Mulan found a doll belonging to a little girl she never met and that PISSED. HER. OFF.

They should have have changed it so that Ping's dad was just some random officer he looked up to. But even then, they still should have given Mulan a better reason for fighting the bad guy. That's the real disconnect in the movie. The villain's not connected to the hero, but rather to her... mentor? sidekick? love interest? How exactly would you define Ping's role, anyway?

Its Shang. Ping was Mulan's fake alias.

Not to mention the hun were a threat to all of China and were why Mulans dad was summoned for the draft at all. Mulan (and Mushu) had a lot to prove for their own arcs. Taking out the Hun was their fight too.
