She showed him the basics of CQC before scattering his body across China with fireworks. Tiana is a close second. To bad she was a frog and couldnt do much. But never mind that shit, Mulan found a doll belonging to a little girl she never met and that PISSED. HER. OFF. They should have have changed it so that Ping's dad was just some random officer he looked up to. But even then, they still should have given Mulan a better reason for fighting the bad guy. That's the real disconnect in the movie. The villain's not connected to the hero, but rather to her... mentor? sidekick? love interest?
