The people who save Rosie tend to save the characters I like. It may be mean, but I dont want Rosie taking votes from my favorites.

That's an interesting way to think about it, and it's the opposite of what I would do.

My logic would be to keep around those characters that I might not support but the people who have been helping me with my characters do. That way I can save those as well and keep the people on my side coming back, or at least get in their good graces to convince them to help me with my characters even if they lose theirs before mine. A lot of people just peace out and stop participating when all of their choices are out, but if I did a good enough job at helping their choices go really far, then maybe they would stick around and keep helping my choices even beyond that point.

There's always a point when people may not have time to save everyone they want to (so you'd rather have them save characters you support) or there are so few left that people have a tougher time saving other choices for risk of jeopardizing their own. But I don't think we're at that point just yet.

I know I've been guilty of stop helping others when they let my guys get eliminated a time or two.

I also didnt think about people outright stopping participation when their favorites are out, as Ive done that.

Theres a pro to every con for these things >_>

Yep, weighing the pros and cons against each other is a big part of strategy in any game. With my tactic of trying to keep allies that will support my picks even after they lose theirs, I know I run the risk of my allies' choices eventually forcing mine out when push comes to shove. I've had it happen a few times in past contests where the last two left in a round were one of my primary choices and a secondary choice that I had also saved for one of my allies, so in that way my saving the secondary choice screwed over my primary one. It happens.
