Etc.

Why don't more schools just make a deal with private corporations and have them serve the students that kinda junk food?

I've always liked the normal stuff they have more than fast food.

The catholic private school I went to for a year did that shit too. It was pretty bad ass but nothing special after a little while.

My roommate in college went to a school like that. They had pizza from Pizza Hut at least once a week.

I just wish my high school cafeteria would have let us use the microwave.

I never even went into the cafeteria during school hours. Only the weird kids without cars stayed on campus during lunch

my school had marcos or something on mondays. burgers and other stuff they made themselves. seems like schools are trying to be healthier so i don't think that will ever happen. haven't they already got rid of pop/soda at school?

if asked the cafeteria personnel nicely, they'll let a high schooler use the microwave if the food is slightly cold (there was one or two occurrences which led to that).

My school had something similar about 20 years ago. You could get dominoes, subway, or food from the local Chinese joint. Awesome if you had first lunch. If you had the latest lunch the pizza was usually stale from being under the heat lamp and the Chinese was kinda stale too.

For years and years the private school I attended and eventually worked at for six years had a "McDonald's Day" every week where you could order whatever. They discontinued it finally the last year or two I worked there.

They experimented with Arby's and Rax over the years, but I don't think either stuck around very long for whatever reason.

Lucky. I remember explicitly still being not allowed to use the microwave or go off campus for lunch when I was a legal adult.
