Apparently, they said they were going to make a law that you couldnt have a gun if it could hold more than one bullet. And they werent sure how they were going to enforce it. And then said that they would call in the National Guard... Which turned out to be the guys with the guns. Then, they said they would start cutting off power and water to the people who didnt want to give up their guns. And apparently, there are militias all over the state waiting for the law to pass...

My annoying co-worker has been going on about this for a while. I don't know much else beyond what he's told me which was pretty much summarized in the op.

He also goes on about how his friend's smart TV is a spy for Obama too though, so I didn't put much stock into anything he told me. So I'm surprised it's actually a thing people are talking about.

I don't really keep up with the news or socialize though, so I'm probably not the best source for this.

I mean your Smart TV is probably spying on you, but it's more likely to be going to the NSA or China. Some network monitoring tools could easily check this out for your friend.

Like I said, its mostly a rumor. But rumors are usually based around a truth. I heard that the cutting of water and power was probably a rumor, and most likely wouldnt happen. Though, its probably very possible... But there is some kind of law being made. And people are trying to get other to go to Virginia. From what I heard, the 1 bullet gun law is so they can get around the second amendment. That way, they can still keep bear arms, as long as they cant hold more than one bullet...

As for smart tv, I wouldnt say spy fro Obama. But it probably does watch/listen. Like phone and computers do. Though, they do it for ads. Like a guy who kept telling his wife they needed to get cat food. And they started getting cat food ads every time they did anything... And they apparently didnt have a cat...

Oh yeah, I have no doubts smart devices are used to spy. It's just he was very specific that this particular TV was for Obama. Also some stuff about Hilary Clinton and Epstein confusing the TV or something which he said was proof.

First I'm hearing about the one bullet thing. But the area I live in is flooded with guns, people act like gun collecting is a way of life. There's no way anyone could get them all.

Not that the proposed new laws -- which are likely to go through -- aren't major infringements in and of themselves.That's in addition to other ideas currently being tossed around that are also egregious, but nowhere near as silly as the one-bullet claim.

It's more than just red flag laws. They are also trying to ban anything they have decided is an "assault weapon" and it includes guns with a whole host of common features, like pistol grips, thumbhole stocks and detachable magazines.
