For a couple months there, a Netflix original anime release was super cool, with stuff like AICO and B following up Devilman.

Now it's....pretty much just talk almost every time.

Oh I think she sounds great, but LJM doesn't have a huge career to the point where she just IS Kari Kamiya in my head and I cannot imagine her doing any other character. I have no idea why, relative to how long she's been doing this, she doesn't have a ton of roles out there.

Legosi has some good range from the clips I've seen, too, though I can't tell at all who the VA is.

Legosi's VA is relatively new to the game, this is by far his biggest role. Name is Jonah Scott.

His default Legosi voice sounds a little generic for me which granted FITS for Legosi technically but I'm sure it'll be fine and it seems he has anxious nervous Legosi voice down

MHA movie watched.

It was solid. Good action scenes, Bakugo being awesome, but somewhat rushed plot and very questionable place in the canon. So all in all exactly what I expected.

Hawks is looking to be a pretty great character, if this movie is any indication.

HELLLLLLLL YEAAAAAAAAAAA I haven't even seen the movie yet (hopefully this week) but he's my second favorite Pro Hero and one of my fav MHA characters in general so that's nice to hear

Not that many or possibly any of us watched this dub of DBZ, but this is really sad and terrible

So for all the weird cuts and changes it got, the Ten drama got a sequel covering the last arc

I learned of this more than 12 hours ago and I'm still in shock over it

and I've never regretted not understanding Japanese more than I do now.

Fire Force beated. Not a good show! The animation was amazing, but that was just about all it had going for it. For the first half, the pacing is way too fast. Things just happen like crazy all the time, and arcs that feel like they should take half a dozen episodes end in two. The first couple episodes (where the show is still episodic) are real good, but everything falls apart once the story begins. The pace slows down in the second half, but it gets *really* slow. It's a shame they couldn't have redirected some of the time from the second half to the first. The story kinda sucks, and none of the villains are interesting in the slightest. I wish it could've just stayed episodic the whole way through, so the story wouldn't have gotten in the way of the fun action. The good guy cast isn't the best either. Shinra, Obi, and Hinawa are pretty good, but the others aren't used that well. I feel like Arthur gets too much screentime, and Tamaki's just an awful concept. Oh well.

Oh yeah We Never Learn looks like it's coming to an end soon. I guess the anime spoiled the ending from what I've been hearing.

And no rom-com in sight to take its place! I wonder how long Yuuna can continue.

It's an incredibly consistent, unbelievably high quality show. Really no flaws to speak of in the slightest. Barring sequel bias, an easy AotY frontrunner.

Watched New Game last week and absolutely loved...season 1. I liked season 2 but not as much due to drama. CGDCT with yuri undertones is my favorite kind of anime, and this show really delivered.

For a change of pace, I followed that up with Magical Girl Raising Project. Killed it in two days. Was surprisingly hooked by it, despite making the decision beforehand to not watch the new Madoka spin-off.

I love Magical Girl Raising Project.

Would be really fantastic if more volumes got adapted!

Way too many tears in S2, I preferred newbie Aoba to veteran Aoba, and the new girls, while great when they were alone together, were a net negative.

As for MGRP, I knew what I was walking into, and it was my third "magical girl suffering" show. I didn't like many of the girls and actively disliked quite a few, including Top Speed. Best part of the show was probably Swim Swim

(it's not actually that at all, I forgot the Category:Opening Theme Songs on the wiki included the subcategories for each series, so it's only 25 or 26 depending on if you could the Kaiki/Hitagi duet as one, or two because there's her solo version also. I would argue two but)

oh, honestly the thing that impresses me most about it is the direction. I really appreciate the stark white backgrounds with minimal details to make other things taking up the screen pop, and the general editing and shots done. Senjogahara is really elevated by her VA, she's strangely very calming to me despite Senjogahara herself being a bit eccentric. Worst part of the show is Araragi but I was told that would be the case going in and he gets the job done when it comes down to it.

Good show, does cool things.
