Does context from the previous games in the series tie into Persona 5 at all, and if so, how much? I've seen nothing but positive reviews on Persona 5 so I'm really intrigued by Royal coming out and am thinking picking it up. The only links to previous titles in Persona 5 is extremely minor references to party members from Persona 4, those being Risette is an idol you will see on banners in Persona 5 and there will be some minor comments regarding a boy detective, Naoto, both of whom were party members in Persona 4. Its completely unimportant to the plot that you would know this and its never highlighted in any way. Its more of an Easter egg for anyone whos played the previous title. --- Que sera, sera. Apparently its only called The Royal in Japan and so Ill stop calling it by that name. Persona 5 Scramble is a Dynasty Warriors type of game and will be available on Switch and PS4 at some point in the future. A demo was made available for it today in Japan. --- Que sera, sera. This extra content could have been added via DLC. The reason why they don't? Money.
