i dunno. the progressive democrats simply want a more evenly distribution of wealth. theyre plans are the same: to use the wealth of those few who found ways to not pay their "share" of taxes. the appeal is that there are much much more voters who fit the benefits of a more progressive reform. they often point out the changes will be fair in these times. changes like this often meets heavy resistance. these fears are understandable if youre willing to listen. i think in few ways barriers of entry to better economic status are made like this because there are some that need the help. Sanders often points out how the really wealthy exploit the working class efforts and that the shares of those efforts only benefit the top. i get it.

the multimillionaires and billionaires that want to lead are often viewed to keep the status quo. its stable the way it is and opportunities are still there through effort and some luck. i get that for some, thats all the need to help themselves.

The clean water rule by Obama had many issues with it and has now mostly become a political cat fight between various organizations to maintain power.

The rule would have made it possible to regulate waters that were, in effect, dry land, such as a depression in land that holds water a few days a year after heavy precipitation.

Then theres the we will know a regulated water when we see it aspect of the rule. If waters didnt fall under specific categories as listed in the rule, then the Obama rule created a backup plan to help ensure the agencies could still have the ability to regulate additional waters.

The rule made it possible for the agencies to regulate some waters on a case-by-case basis if they decided that the water had a significant nexus to certain regulated waters.
A property owner couldnt have known what this would cover, because such determinations would have been at the subjective whim of agency officials.
Thats particularly problematic because the Clean Water Act has both civil and criminal penalties.

Sanders is NOT a socialist.
Sanders is a democratic socialist (yes, there is a HUGE difference between the two).
Long story short, he just wants to take power away from the top 1% (CEOs of corporations being one primary example) and give more power to the common people (the other 99%). This is A LOT better than doing something like (for example) giving more tax cuts to corporations (for example, Amazon legally paid NO U.S federal income tax during 2018).
