Usmash is alright because it is kind of safe with platforms due to no shield dropping but its slow while covering a circular arc that isnt the best. She's a half assed zoner that trades some of Villagers best tools for a laggy fishing rod that barely works on PS2 and a lloid mine that's a dollar store version of Snake's c4. She has bad mobility, is lighter than the villager AND has a bigger hurtbox, is floaty, has an exploitable recovery, pocket helps since it can act as a second air dodge, has no range outside fair, bair and ftilt, has a garbage grab that is slow as fuck, has poor kill power, and her disadvantage state is total garbage she has no get off me button. She's really gimmicky but once you learn how to exploit her weaknesses it becomes apparant she's can be pretty bad. She gets torn apart by fast characters, characters with projectiles and disjoints. Last night I was playing Megaman and it was very difficult for Isabelle to get in pass his projectiles, her pocket only works for one projectile and her poor mobility and lack of good zoning tools makes it difficult to approach. She also can't force approaches nor pressure your shield. She does do good against big bodies and characters with linear recoveries.
