Well? Which one is it???

For an old-ass man who constantly puts his foot in his mouth, it's surprising how much of a voter-base Joe still has. Do these people genuinely LIKE Joe Biden, or are they just trying to find somebody (ANYBODY) that has a shot a beating Trump?

There's no right or wrong answer here. Vote away, peeps!

Ill vote for him if he is the nominee. Definitely not my first pick but hes a hell of a lot better than Trump or any conservative.

Where did I say voting for Biden isn't irrational? Learn to read.

I'm saying if the choice is between something that's irrational and stupid, and something that's simply irrational, I'll take my chances with the less stupid choice.

Didn't think that was that hard to figure out, but I guess you have to spell everything out for some people.

Have you ever heard a Trump speech?

How is sentences just meander for ever into nonsense? Trump's at least as senile as Biden. Which I guess is why it usually feels like a Mike Pence presidency, with the rigid absolute adherence to the religious right on everything.
Whoever Biden picks as VP will probably have a strong influence on his agenda, too.

Do I want a hardcore Republican for 4 more years or a half republican for 4 years?

And that half republican would progressively lose his mind, btw, which would mean his anonymous vp would be the president for the next 4 years

The guy doesn't even want to legalize weed, votes in favor of every outsourcing trade agreement, votes in favor of all military spending increases, now that gay marriage is a thing of the past I actually see zero difference between him and Trump. He would probably do the exact same things. The only benefit to a Biden candidacy I can see would be that he might somewhat rebuild the EPA, and he might not have kids in cages at the border.

But then if Biden wins it gives the DNC zero incentive to try harder to be less shady.

This is all with the massive assumption that a Hillary Clinton with dementia would even beat Trump.

And yeah I would have zero incentive to get off my ass and vote for Biden in the general.

Hillary ate Trump alive at the debates in 2016, and it didn't matter.

Bloomberg got rhetorically destroyed by Warren in the Nevada debate, and went on to capture more votes than her on Super Tuesday anyway.

I think people overestimate how important it is to win a debate. What I've learned is, the true strategy (as is best in general in life) is: sandbagging
The narrative wasn't how bad Trump did in the debates. It was how he did marginally less awful than the extremely low bar he and the media had set for himself. It's not about winning. It's about exceeding expectations.

I thought it was the exact opposite of this. Pretty much every poll under the sun showed Hillary winning in 2016. If ANYONE had the "benefit of the doubt" in that election, it was Hillary (by pretty much every measurable standard).

Mind you, that's not even counting the endless slew of bad PR that was levied against Trump ("grab them by the p____" / "Muslim ban" / mocking a disabled reporter / etc.). The biggest thing against Hillary was her email scandal, and thanks to Bernie himself, most of her voters gladly looked past that whole debacle.

Granted, as for how die-hard Trump's support is NOW (compared to 2016), it's difficult to actually measure, since his target base consists of people that don't typically participate in popularity polls, but DO actually come out to vote on election days (when the vote actually matters).

Yeah, but I'll take Bernie Sanders with the majority of his funds coming from small dollar donations. He does technically take super PAC money from nurses united, among other very small ones (note that anything over $200 is considered a large contribution), so it would be incorrect to say he doesn't take any. (<1%)

Note that the list that you posted includes all employees of that company. Take Amazon for example
https://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/summary.php?id=D000023883

100% of those donations came from individuals. With Bernie being (surprise) at the top of that list.
