wolfy42 03/15/20 9:38:11 AM #1:	Thanks to a poster on here, I knew the hours were changing at stores, and I figured if I went just as they opened today, I might luck out and avoid most of the lines, and maybe have a chance to get some supplies. This mostly worked at my Safeway. I went wearing a venom hoodie that covered my mouth (left my eyes exposed though, and due to having bear paws for hands, socks on my hands. There was a line to get in, but it wasn't too bad, but even after stocking, there were not many supplies. That being said I was able to get toilet paper (got 2 24 packs, one for me, and one for my roomates), AND they had my type of water (goo 6 gallons..to go with the bunch I already have). I got some steaks so I don't have to eat just canned food, and oranges, and brocolli, they had no bananas though at all. I got some cans of chilli and 5 packages of hot dogs, along with bread, and 2 things of sara lee bagels (Already have one at home but they last for months). Got mouth wash and fresh sponges as well (needed them) but they were out of most cleaning supplies. Went to check out and realized....there were NO tellers, not even one. You had to check out with self check (which is not easy with so many things, I aaso got like 6 things of pasta and 6 things of prego pasta sauce.....2 things of peanuts and some other stuff). Checked out and left, I left at 4:30 and got back by 6:30 so less than 2 hours for the whole trip. Over all went well, but...the supplies that were there are going fast....very fast, and I wouldn't be surprised if there is almost nothing left by 10 am or so. I got some of the lass toilet paper (not my brand, I normally would NEVER buy this (I'm picky, I only like scotts), but beggers can't be choosers right now). They were still actually loading the water when I got there, I just took 1 whole cart (6 of them), there were about 20 carts though, so plenty left for other people, if nobody hoards it all. Anyway, I post this as a warning to all, that you REALLY should try and hit the stores before the new hours are know, and especially before they are shortened any more. The girl I talked to who worked there and was stocking stuff for instance isn't going to be coming back after today, she just had a kid and has an auto-immune deficieecy or something. IT looks like they are already seriously down on employees. Don't hoard tons of stuff, but get enough to last a few weeks if you can, cause it may get much harder to get stuff in the near future. --- Agatha "Your naked and they are nuns, it's not your eyes they're not looking at." Meanwhile there are cases popping up all over, so it's not contained. While I am not 50, my husband was born with a bad heart and has had 2 surgeries and the Dr last week said he would have to have another. He has a blood clot in his heart right now and had congestive heart failure. But yeah, he still has to work and works at Wal-Mart. I also care for my mother with Alzheimer's who is bedridden. wolfy42 03/15/20 9:59:45 AM #5:	Yeah, I live in Tacoma WA, so far I have not heard of any outbreaks here, but there are in Seattle which isn't too far away. I'' hoping I got out and back without getting infected. I will have to go out and get my perscrptions in about a week though. I wish I could just get them mailed to me. There isn't much I can do other then what I have done. The employees are still working a lot just trying to keep those shelves stocked up, I also imagine this is placing further demand on delivery of said items meaning that they are getting more shipments.
