As grocery stores cut back hours and supplies become limited at when do you anticipate people looting/killing for food?

Never, pure sensationalism.

Lulz, the other day I went to a loan store to cash a cheque cause I missed the bank and the teller was saying the other day was crazy with people taking out loans so they can get supplies, dumbasses.

The people who are hoarding arent going to go back out and hoard more. The whole purpose of them doing this is so they can remain self-quarantined. Things will improve with supplies.

I was just out today and other then a few choice things there was plenty of stuff in the store. Only thing I couldn't get was a thermometor (I don't own one, and I figured it would be nice to have) but it isn't a huge deal. I think the panic has already started to die down and by next week everything will be back to normal.

It was kind of funny to see what the store was out of though. Oddly enough they were out of most bread, but had almost full shelves of bagles. Not to mention they didn't have any cartons of 1 dozen eggs, I was forced to buy a carton of 18 (which they had almost full stock of). Also bacon and hamburger, but turkey varieties of both were available (and beef bacon...which I picked up because why not try it?)

That seems bizarre. Youd imagine those who are buying in bulk would want the larger portion.

Last time I was able to go shopping at Sam's Club, there was no toilet paper, hand sanitizer, bottled water, bread or fresh meat. But there was plenty of paper towels, soap, soda and fruit juice, tortillas, hamburger buns, and frozen meat.

I know right? What was even more bizzare is they had a "2 egg cartons per shopper" limit, so people were literally looking at the egg cartons and going "hmm, only 2 huh? Better get the 12 packs then!"

Maybe they recently restocked the 18-pack eggs? Only logical explanation. Then again, people arent always logical..,
